We ate in the restaurant on the 1st floor due to the uncertainty of the weather. The restaurant had a great ambiance. Staff were very obliging and helpful with the menu which was in English. Food and wine were excellent. Price to quality ratio very good and would recommend.

Lovely experience !! Location is great - right in one of the central streets, parking is 3min walk from hotel. Breakfast was nice. Hotel rooms were brand new and done with modern touch of wood and stone. We like the look of our room(no 7). We were returning from skiing weekend and hesitated between more touristic Bolzano or Merano and this hotel just push the visit of this city to the right “Italian” mood.

A Merano per lavoro, cercavo un posto tranquillo in centro dove mangiare qualcosa. Sono capitato quasi per caso in questo ristorante ed è stata una sorpresa. In mezza al via via di persone si nasconde un posto ricavato in un palazzo storico. Entrando è tutto una scoperta. Ho mangiato bene, pagato il giusto e il servizio è stato attento. A pranzo, era molto tranquillo. Ottimo!

Cena presso questo locale in un giardino esterno in mezzo ad appartamenti …. Intorno a noi a pochi metri c’erano terrazze e garage ! Menù molto scarso per fortuna c’era la pizza che tutto sommato non era male solo che il primo è arrivato mezz’ora prima delle 3 pizze e siamo stati costretti a guardare l’altro mangiare … i camerieri gentilissimi ma la struttura in quel posto con quel menu scarsissimo anche no!!! 2 tipi di birra poi…. Ma forse alla clientela tedesca va bene così …🫣I dolci buoni .

Wir haben das Restaurant am 7.5.25 mit 5 Personen zum Abendessen besucht. Schon das Restaurant ist sehr sehenswert. Wir wurden von einem Kellner sehr, freundlich, aufmerksam, geduldig +kompetent beraten+betreut. Das Essen war sehr fein, auch schön präsentiert, die Weinempfehlung prima uns selbst das Desert schön präsentiert. Die Haus ist sehr sehenswert und der Gastraum sehr schön. Sehr gerne wieder ‼️

Albergo bellissimo in pieno centro a Merano. Ricavato da un'antica stazione di posta, gode di una ristrutturazione interna magnifica che mette in evidenza sia la storia che la modernità, praticamente sembra di essere fuori dal tempo. Stanze ampie e comode e sala della colazione molto bella. Ottimo il livello sia della colazione che del Ristorante, situato nella Gotische Saal . Buonissima anche la Pizza. Rapporto qualità-prezzo giusto, e servizio cordiale.

Fantastica location che ti trasporta nel 1700 ma con servizi odierni , pulizia eccellente , cucina ottima e tanta cortesia del personale . Camere calde e comode . Colazione molto buona con richieste fuori menù esaudite . Da tornare sicuramente

Ordiniamo quello che nel menù è stato tradotto con "cotoletta"e chiaramente ci fidiamo della traduzione Arriva una braciola cotta come una scaloppine. Una zelante ma ignorante cameriera insiste nel sostenere la correttezza della traduzione. Peccato che in tedesco kalbskotolet su qualsiasi traduttore è appunto braciola di vitello che non identifica certo il fatto che sia una cotoletta. Cestino del pane non pervenuto

Struttura risalente almeno alx1700. Camera enorme, con bel soppalco, ristrutturata conservando elementi storici che donano un'atmosfera suggestiva. Bello il bagno e inaspettato il terrazzo. Tutto curato nei dettagli. Buona la colazione, gentilissimi tutti.
