Ilunion Hacienda de Mijas ★★★★
"The room we booked was not marked as -1st floor. It was obviously a basement with a window. The front desk had a bad attitude and said there were no other rooms. We arrived in the middle of the night and almost early in the morning. We had no choice but to stay. The smell of sewerage was very strong. Seriously, how clean can a basement be? The external environment of the hotel is quite good"
La Zambra Resort Mijas - Marbella - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt ★★★★★
"The hotel is very comfortable; you can relax there for a few days."
Opuntia Hotel Boutique ★★★
"Specifically, it is very good, that is, the room is not soundproof, and the roadside starts to noisy at 7 o'clock in the morning. There is also a church clock that will go three times every half an hour at night to 00:00."
Sea to Sky Suites - Mijas Pueblo ★★★★
"Pros: The check-in instructions were very detailed, and the breakfast was delicious. Cons: 1) The chapel is right next door, and the bells ring until midnight; 2) No shower gel was provided, only a bottle of shampoo, which the host said could be used as shower gel; 3) The bed was too soft."
TRH Mijas ★★★★
"Our third stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location in the village of Mijas, short walk to everything and right beside the bus stop. It is a traditional spanish hotel, very clean and the staff are extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. The pool area is very peaceful, plenty of sun loungers and choice to lay by the pool or on the large terrace where you can take in the beautiful views. The buffet breakfast was well organised and there was a good choice of hot and cold food and a manned station where fried eggs, bacon and omlettes were made to order while you waited. We had a basic room but it was more than adequate wirh comfortable beds, tv, air con, fridge, hairdryer etc and was cleaned every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again."
Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol ★★★★
"Good, good, good"
Macdonald la Ermita Resort ★★★★
Los Amigos Beach Club ★★★

La Cala Resort ★★★★
"Review (refined version): Our stay at La Cala Golf Resort was exceptional from start to finish. We arrived midday on 5th September and, although we were a little early, Paco at reception was wonderfully accommodating. Within the hour he called to let us know our room was ready — and it was superb. We played all three courses, each in outstanding condition, and had access to the bar buggy service throughout our stay, which was a great touch. The customer service across the entire resort was second to none; every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. The clubhouse team were especially kind, and the food and drink there were excellent. We only ventured into Mijas twice during our five nights because everything we needed was right at the resort. Honestly, it would be hard to find a better golf destination on the Costa del Sol. For us, it’s a definite 10/10."

Aparthotel Ona Campanario
"This is the second year that we have stayed here. We find the resort less busy towards the end of September so it is quieter and very relaxing. It was quite warm so we were lucky to have a shadier terrace and spent many evenings outside. We would definitely recommend the resort as the staff are very friendly and remembered us from last year. "
Hearts & Home
"We had an amazing stay here. The villa is stunning, the host is really kind and friendly … and every day she baked us some lovely treats! Stunning views from the terrace and plenty of places to relax. Breakfast was served by lovely friendly people and absolutely delicious."
Campos de Mar
"Balcony with beautiful view of the sea and the landscape. Deep garage parking (very narrow access, our car rental was a Ford Focus and that passed just like that) and lift. Pool unfortunately something dirty, car needed. Washing machine, washing machine"
Crown Resorts Club Marbella
"The resort was nice, alittle far from the beach, lots of sleep hills and a little far from malaga city ( taxi and Uber both about 60 euro). Overall though had a great time. Pool was wonderful and down the hill there were restaurants and shops. Recommend the Italian restaurant little Italy for dinner and Jill's den for breakfast."
Hotel Carmen
"Arrived for a one night stay and couldn’t fault the reception staff or the cleanliness. Room was bright and could tell they took pride in it being spotless. Would recommend asking for a room to the rear though if you’re a light sleeper as the dual carriage way is close to the rooms on the front and can be noisy during peak hours. The hotel is in an ideal location though apart from that with the beach and restaurants all close by. Can see why it’s a 2 star due to the lack of facilities such as a pool etc. but if you’re more just wanting a place to rest it’s perfect."
Santa Barbara Residences by Idiliq
Hotel Villarocamar
"If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in the mountains of Spain, this charming bed and breakfast is everything you could hope for and more. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by Alain, the sweetest and most generous host you’ll ever meet. He is genuinely devoted to making every guest feel cared for. His kindness, warmth, and deep knowledge of the area make every conversation a delight, and his recommendations are always spot on. The setting is absolutely beautiful, nestled in the mountains. Each room is impressively spacious, with a large bathroom and its own private patio, perfect for relaxing. The rooms are incredibly affordable. It’s true value for money, with great hospitality. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or in a small group, this place offers peace, comfort, and a wonderful sense of safety. As a female traveler, I felt completely at ease during my entire stay. Thank you to Alain, for opening his bed and breakfast and heart to travelers."
