It was great. The room was quite spacious for four of us. I'd love to come back with my family again.

While the hotel is a bit off the beaten path, it offers an incredibly peaceful and private environment. The food was superb and truly showcased local flavors.

Located on a slightly higher elevation in Kurokawa Onsen, it's definitely more convenient for those traveling by car. The hotel has a limited number of rooms, each a private, detached cottage. These rooms are incredibly spacious and each comes with its own private onsen, allowing for a wonderfully leisurely and comfortable soak. The price offers excellent value for money, as it includes both breakfast and dinner, which were incredibly generous and delicious. We highly recommend this place!

Good service with English speaker staff. Location is a bit far from everything and hard to find the hotel.

It was the best part of my trip to Fukuoka, Aso, and Kurokawa. If you have a rental car, I highly recommend it! It's about 6 minutes from Kurokawa, so it's not that far, and it was a great place to feel nature and experience Japanese traditions rather than the bustle of Kurokawa. Here, I experienced two famous places in Kurokawa: open air, and my whole family said this was the best. It was a fun time at a house like Totoro Forest :)

The service and food are very good, but it is recommended only if you need to drive by yourself. The location is a bit remote and is not recommended for travelers without a car. But the environment is very comfortable. Each household has its own private hot spring that can be bathed at any time. 10 points comfortable and freehand!

Although the location is relatively remote, the environment is quiet. We visited in early November. Some of the maple trees were already red and beautiful. The family hot spring pool is great and you can see the stream.

The facilities were very, very good. However, the location is far from the bus stop and there is no pick-up vehicle, so you have to take a taxi or walk. I tried to order dinner and breakfast, but due to the typhoon, everyone except me canceled their reservations, so I was disappointed that they were not served.

The hotel is remote, and you have to take a taxi to go to Kurokawa Naka. Apart from the remote and inconvenient location, the hotel environment is good, away from the hustle and bustle, and there are waterfalls nearby. The staff are friendly and can communicate in simple English. The kaiseki cuisine and breakfast at night are very rich and delicious! The hot spring next to the room is huge!

The room has a private bath, with the sound of running water next to it, and you are completely immersed in the private world of nature! It’s about a 10-minute drive from Kurokawa Onsen, so it’s also very convenient if you’re traveling by car! Compared to Kurokawa Onsen, it is quiet and affordable.
