Sekuro VIllage Beach Resort - Photo Gallery

We intentionally chose a remote resort location just to chill for wedding anniversary weekend and were very pleased with our experience. The staff was friendly and served with a smile. The 2-bedroom villa we had was well-appointed and comfortable, tastefully designed in contemporary Indonesian style without heavy reliance on traditional motifs. We especially loved the large semi-outdoor bathroom that came with it. WiFi strength was good enough for us to follow a streaming event from back home, so no issue there. Given its location we had all our meals in the hotel, the selection was sufficient to satisfy our desire for both local and international fares. Food portion was good and we totally enjoyed the local Central Javanese cuisine. We were also amply treated with some extra touches for our anniversary dinner, which was the highlight of the stay. The resort is bestowed with a nice stretch of beach with fine white sand that is well-maintained, with clear water quality good enough for a dip. Otherwise, the west-facing infinity-edge swimming pool offers a very nice swim with a seemingly unbroken water vista with a sunset view. This being a public beach, expect some activities from outsiders, but mostly groups of local families having their fun in the sun largely confined to the fringe of the property, so it did not bother us to share the space. All in all, Sekuro Village has our vote. For the few days there, it was our home away from home.
