"The service at this hotel was appalling. Every time our group asked for even a water we were treated like we were making a huge request. The staff very obviously didn’t want to do any work. There was no restaraunt and the bar opened when it suited them. Rooms rarely cleaned. We booked a taxi through the hotel and were waiting outside for over 20 minutes to check again and realised they hadn’t even bothered to ring nor did they bother to inform us. Without doubt the worst hotel I’ve ever been in. Having seen a high rating I read through the reviews and think they may not be genuine as there are repeated phrases used throughout. Do not stay here."

"Excellent Boutique hotel in Modica. Rooms have all the comfort necessary to enable a very peaceful and rewarding stay. Good TV, Wifi, coffee machine, great bathrooms, and all the necessary comfort. Then there is the food. Those who wake up with a good appetite will not be disappointed for sure. Equally good are the lunches and the dinners, supported by a very good bar. The reception staff also go out of their way to help you with everything that you need. Also good relaxation and wellness facilities. and above all everything is spotlessly clean while Spa is immediately cleaned after every client's use. In conclusion- if one is seeking an excellent place in South East Sicily- especially for the Maltese who came to Sicily frequently, Then this is the place to choose. An added bonus is that the Hotel is surrounded by good shops."

"I picked this hotel because of its reasonable price and its central location, about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and a 10-minute walk to the bus station in the opposite direction. I liked it. It's on a small street just off Piazza Matteotti. You have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the reception area (there's a light switch to your right inside the door). There was another flight of stairs up to my very comfortable and modern room. This hotel has a hipster ambiance, but don't let that deter you if you are, like me, an older independent traveler. (I had an amusing conversation with the owner when I asked him to point out the bus station on a map he provided, and he told me where a travel office was so I could book an excursion. I told him that I just wanted to take a regional bus to Ragusa, Scicli and other local towns, and I thought to myself, "Do I look that old?") He and the staffers were pleasant and very helpful, giving me advice about sights to see and places to eat. Don't expect to always see someone in the reception area. If you don't plan to check in during the regular time (between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.), make sure you let them know. They may charge extra for that. The location is excellent, right off the main street in Modica and very walkable to many of its best attractions and also best places to eat, including the focacceria of Don Puglisi (which, unfortunately, was closed for vacation when I was there)."

"I had a wonderful week in Sicily at Terradamari Resort. The hotel is brand new and modern with an amazing seaside view. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a lot of local food and dishes. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Just be prepared that it might get a little warm, at least if you are used to very cold bedroom temperatures like I am. I had a great time there and would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone. Valentina from front desk is the most kindest and charming person I have ever met, she gave me a lot of good travel tips. Thank you so much :)"

"I tried the suite with hydromassage and sauna in the room, really fantastic! Friendly and helpful staff but above all the food at the restaurant was really good. There is also an outdoor area with synthetic grass where you can sunbathe and sip the champagne offered ＜3"

"We had another amazing stay; it is always wonderful to return here. One of the greatest stays in Sicily: delicious breakfast, staff, accommodation, everything is fantastic. A great base for exploring the region. Also a great restaurant with fine wines. Perhaps for people with mobility issues, ask for a room that is not a duplex, with the bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. We enjoyed ourselves and hopefully we can return again."
