Modica Palace Hotel
"My daughter and I stayed at MPH for three nights in early July. While the hotel has some lovely features, our overall experience was unfortunately impacted by several avoidable issues. We were initially given a room with a window rather than a balcony, which was due to an error by the booking agent—not the hotel. We requested a swap, but no balcony rooms were available. That said, the room was clean, modern, and the beds were comfortable. We also really enjoyed the breakfast—fresh and well-prepared. The hotel is located in a fairly remote area, and with the on-site restaurant closed during our stay, we had to drive out every evening to find dinner. We stayed in Room 1, which is right next to reception. Unfortunately, this made for a very disturbed first night due to loud noise and what sounded like shouting during the night. We requested a room change and were moved to a room on the first floor, which was thankfully much quieter. On the second evening, we returned to the hotel around 10pm hoping to have a drink at the bar, but were told it closed at 8pm and only soft drinks were available. That night, however, we did manage to get a good night’s sleep. On our final night, we came back to loud music and a full DJ party by the pool and garden area. This was quite a shock, especially as we needed to wake at 6am for a four-hour drive to the airport and from the car in the UK. I called reception at 11:30pm to ask when the music would end, as the bass was extremely loud and disturbing. I was told it was a birthday party. When I pointed out that it was a Monday and some guests might have work or early travel, the receptionist replied that it "shouldn't affect me since I was on vacation." That response was disappointing and dismissive. Overall, this is a nice hotel with a great pool, good breakfast, and mostly polite, helpful staff. But the lack of consistency and poor communication about noise disruptions seriously affected our stay. Had I known in advance about these issues—particularly the late-night events and limited dining/bar options—I would have chosen a different hotel."
Modica Boutique Hotel
"Clean, Big Rooms, Good WiFi help full stuff. The only drawback is there not a lot of activity around. You have to go Modica Bassa. Problem to come back no taxis service from there. If you go with your car it impossible to find where to park."
Modica Old Town Rooms
"I booked this hotel for the event a few days ago. The facilities are average, there are no toiletries, and the sanitation is average. There are some stains in the toilet. Then the self-check-in is very convenient. The homestay is in the center of modica. It is convenient to go anywhere. It is recommended to stay."
Modica Inn Centro, BW Premier Collection
"Hotel position excellent on the main road of Modica, walking distance from city center. Amenities a bit old, specially shower very small and shower head a bit crazy. All in all anyway a good quality-price ratio."
Terradamari Resort & Spa Marina di Modica, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
"A new hotel located on a Blue Flag beach providing all you need for a great break whether for a weekend or a week which is what we stayed for. Everything was spotless with an on-site spa, pool, and attached beach club with sun beds both in the grounds and on the beach itself. Without exception the service from the attentive staff was excellent with the star being Valentina. We had an issue with our hire car which I was having difficulty in resolving not least because of my lack of Italian but Valentina became involved and took it upon herself to sort the issue out which she did. This involved multiple phone calls and a deal of patience on her side but she was brilliant. She also ensured we were able to get back to Catania airport at the end of our stay as the hire car was not returned to us."
Hotel Torre Del Sud
"Excellent structure for those who want to visit a particular corner of Sicily. Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Full breakfast with excellent raw materials. I requested scrambled eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice, not available in the buffet and they were served to me. To return"
Torre Don Virgilio Country Hotel
"Stayed there between the 14th and 18th of July for 4 nights. The hotel is in a remote area which makes it ideal for those looking for a break. This is what we wanted. Breakfast is also good and the staff are nice and helpful. My disappointment is the restaurant. We planned to eat there; however, as soon as I saw the menu I realised that it was limited and also too expensive considering the area. We ate lunch on our last day and the lasagna served as main course was barely enough to give to my 4 year old child. All in all, it's a nice hotel and I consider staying there again due to the beautiful surroundings and cleanliness that I was able to observe. However, I believe that guests who are paying almost €200 a night deserve to at least be offered appropriate dinner and / or lunch for an adequate price."
I Tetti di Siciliando
"I stayed there in August with my family. Everything was beautiful: the view, the breakfast, the beds, the staff were always available for any occasion. I highly recommend it because it's affordable and welcoming, always clean and smells good. Congratulations!"
Agriturismo Il Granaio Hotel & Spa
"What a lovely place and such lovely staff! Beautiful surroundings with a nice pool, a bubble pool, large air conditioned rooms, beautiful garden, good food and very helpful staff. You do need to have car if you want to get around, e.g. take a trip to Modica, Ragusa etc. Highly recommended for couples or families."

Casa Talia - Rooms
"Beautiful hotel in Modica - we stayed for 4 nights over Easter and the hotel, location and staff were amazing. Each room is a converted house, meaning they're individual/characterful and a real taste of Sicily. Breakfast in the garden was delicious, and the pool (just about warm in April!) was spectacular with views over the town. Modica itself is really special - and captivated us (including our 10 and 12 year old). I'd recommend Casa Talia unconditionally!"
Masseria Cianciò
"Great welcome from all the family , a charming cosy place with great hospitality. Will definelty return. Every corner of the place has great taste ; a true gem in Sicily ! Lovely country side & pretty pool ! If you want to switch off from a mad rushed life this is the place to go"
FerroHotel
"We traveled through the cities of Sicily, and this hotel became a convenient one-night stop for us exactly under the format of relocation. The hotel is located right next to the railway station and it was a decisive factor for us. We arrived in the evening, left things and immediately went on a walk in the night Modica. To the historic center about 15 minutes walk, we reached about 10. In the morning after leaving, the suitcases were left on the respiratory, quietly walked through the day town, and then took the things and went on. The rooms are spacious, in excellent condition to get really nowhere. The view from the window comes out on the railroads, but the sound isolation is excellent: no noise we heard. The staff is very polite and friendly, always ready to help with baggage, questions and organizational moments. The only minus breakfast. It turned out to be weak but we are making a low season discount: during our stay we were the only guests for breakfast and did not start to reduce the rating because of this moment. In general, this is an excellent option for a short stop, especially if you travel through Sicily by train and want to be conveniently accommodated without climbing to the mountain and excess logistics."
Stacci Rural Resort
"We really enjoyed our stay at Stacci. We loved beach life that is 20 to 30 minutes drive away, and beutiful Modica town! Diner option is sensational with their young and talented Head chef. We would also like to thank the entire staff for very friendly service."
B&b Candido Vacanze
"The exquisite hosts Amazing welcome Possibility to park under the house Breakfast included like at home Optimal room cleaning Minimal but functional furniture To get to the center just follow the endless stairs of the city"
San Giorgio Modica Hotel
"The location is great and the welcome we received was great ( it feels a bit mean to criticise but need to). This is an olde building next to the cathedral in Modica alta. Essentially the interior has been ripped out and replaced with something ultra modern. Furnishings are cheap and cleanliness is not great (stains on the carpet and mould inThe shower). Getting a beer when we arrived was like appearing in your own episode of ‘Fawlty Towers’. The glass door to the balcony in our room was cracked.Breakfast was very simple, fruit juice served in plastic cups ( not very sustainable). However staff were really friendly. We wouldn’t return."
