The meeting I attended in Montpellier was held at the city hall, Hotel de Ville, which is an impressive, vast, modern bulk in a booming concrete district south of the centre. Three minutes walk away is the Adagio Aparthotel, which is also close to tramways and therefore easily accessible from the city centre. I was very satisfied with the accommodation in a clean and well-equipped mini-apartment with fridge, cooker and a small dining table. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of shelves and cupboards as well as good lighting. However, a comfy chair to relax in would have been welcome. There's a lounge area on the ground floor where a good breakfast (including eggs, croissant and fresh fruit) is served. Although it is built and decorated in a slightly soulless style the Adagio was more than adequate for my two night stay.

Catastrophic: air conditioning that doesn't work, refrigerator in pantograph, no water at my arrival at 16h .... No responsible, only young trainees who tried to do the best by offering free drinks, The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.
And the next day when you leave: no excuse presented.

Four-star Pullman stayed for the first time, and it was a relatively new hotel in Montpellier. The location was very convenient and the service was very good. The pool terrace and restaurant on the sixth floor are good. The only shortcoming is that the room is slightly smaller.

The hotel was lovely and the facilities were great. Our family had enough room to be comfortable and everything was clean and tastefully decorated. The location was perfect for travellers with the the main train station across the street and trams in front of the hotel, travel couldn't be easier. Even with transport right there we had a great night's sleep due to the double glazed windows.

Communication with this hotel was good before arrival. We asked for a Superior double room on the first floor and this was provided for us. It was a large room with excellent air conditioning, comfortable large bed and pillows. Shower was excellent with hand rail for support. We were provided with two bottles of water on arrival, one bottle of water on the second day and nil bottles of water on the third day. Why? Toiletries that were used were nor replenished. Why? Tea bags that were used were not replenished. Why? The toilet area is separate to the bathroom area. You have to leave one room to go to another to wash your hands. The door to the toilet make a pretty awful creaking sound when opened and closed, disturbing my partners sleep at night. Housekeeping should be reporting these type of issues. The bathroom area has a glass wall. It does not give 100% privacy. When you switch on the light to wash your hands during the night, the whole bedroom lights up. The batteries for the remote control for the TV in our room were dead. Reception could not find any replacement until Daniel stepped in and gave us the ones from the reception remote. We found Daniel to be an excellent worker, tuned in to his customer needs. We were staying for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast offering never changed over the 3 mornings. It was pretty boring and we have had better. One staff member, a lady with bandana, took exception to me taking a tea spoon from a box on the counter, so I could stir my tea. I had used the one originally given to eat a yogurt. I felt like a school child. The same lady when cleaning off the breakfast tables would examine the cutlery to see if they had been used, if not she put them back on the table for the next person. Despite the above, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Reception staff were very pleasant. We liked the old world decor. The hotel is situated a few minutes from the train station.

Pleasant and comfortable rooms.
We regret the absence of a coffee machine in a hotel of this standard.
Staff not very attentive (I reported a concern with my reservation and no solution was sought).

If you’re coming for one night on a business trip it’s absolutely fine. I thought the staff were polite, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good and the dressing gowns in the room Are a nice touch. Nice roof terrace I thought breakfast was overpriced for what it was - could have been a better selection. Bit weird that the toilet is separate to the main bathroom and the tea/coffee selection in the room isn’t very good. The room was also on the small side - not tiny but it felt a little small to me. Thought it was priced OK for business but not a good value option. I just think a few little tweaks would make it better - I feel like it’s trying to me a premium hotel but not quite making it

The environmental score is low because-almost stolen before entering the hotel! Because self-driving cars have to park on the other side of the square (in fact, it’s only a 5-minute walk, but there is no elevator in the public parking lot, so you have to pick up the boxes from the underground by yourself), we have been out for more than ten days, two large boxes and two small boxes of luggage- Passing through the square should be too big a target, so unfortunately I was targeted-at the last moment when I entered the hotel door, the two female thieves went one after the other, and when I subconsciously turned back, the back hand was already touching my schoolbag...turning back When I checked in, I asked the front desk how the security was like this-he bluntly said that the place was very safe-the problem is that according to our observations over the next two days, it was a group of gypsies who usually occupies the intersection next to the hotel! Focus on tourists! Is it possible that the locals in the hotel can't not see? It didn't even explain anything that caught our attention! I regretted it for two nights-because of the accident that happened on the first day, we completely lost the idea of visiting the city-we drove out of the city

Excellent
GGuest UserWe stayed here on a whim after rerouting our trip. We did not know much about the area, but wanted to be near the city center. Montpellier is a university town with a very vibrant college crowd. This hotel is an easy walk to the main sights in Montpellier and to some great restaurants. The room had a great layout, was very comfortable, and with the option of a decent breakfast offering. We had a car and parking was available on site, which was wonderful after some of the parking issues we had elsewhere. Would not hesitate to recommend.
I really liked my experience at the Royal Hotel. The room was very beautiful, spacious and finely furnished. I found a bit difficult that there was no WiFi and the signal on my phone was so low that was impossible to load even social networks. For this reason, I worked from the lobby with my computer. It’s a nice and quiet space. I appreciated also the tea and cookies that were offered in the afternoon in the lobby. The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station, restaurants and a supermarket.
MmauriusjdoAs much as I am keen in giving a five star rating, I am rather disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, particularly the bathroom. I just arrived from BCN and went out dinner then returned to wash my face - as soon I had dried using their towels, it smelled like poop as it wasn’t cleaned properly & it still has dried feces on it. Not to mention toilet wasn’t cleaned properly as it have remaining feces is inside it. I had complained and had transferred me to a room that had similar condition. A lady came to inspect the room I decided to stayed in as I decided not be transferred but was told toilet cannot be cleaned the way I had requested, which is remove the hardened feces, as it was some sort of calcium deposit. Totally ridiculous. Anyhow, the reception was accommodating & seems genuinely nice,& location was good as it is centrally located - near the main train station in Montpellier.
SSimonaGeoBeware! Worst hotel experience ever! We booked to stay overnight and had to checkin late because we had a road accident. Although we informed them in advance and they said we will be able to checkin, we just need to show ID card to the security, that guy actually wanted to make a photo copy of my credit card somewhere else, away from me. When I refused (I asked to at least be able to see what he copies) he just locked the door and we stayed 2hours in front of the hotel in the middle of the night with a baby and a 4yrs old... Later I agreed with the photocopy just because I wanted to have some sleep for the kids, entered the apartment where was just one double bed and a sofa, which was not prepared for sleep and there weren't any sheets or duvet cover. We of course paid for 4 people, not for 2! Everything was quite dirty and poor, absolutely not worth the 150€ price we paid. Also, we booked it because it was stated to have a secure parking, but they said parking is full, so we had to park in the middle of nowhere and we were worried for our car as well, as it was a latest mercedes model and the region of the hotel doesn't really feel like a safe one.
GGuest UserI stayed at Montpellier's Appart'hotel Odalys Les Occitanes in October 2023. I loved so many things about the place. For example, the location is great, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the folks at the reception are friendly and very helpful. But I can't give the hotel a high rating because of one very important thing: Their front door is heavy and often stuck, making it difficult for most women to open it. Most men have no problem opening it. Take a moment and consider this problem. When you are traveling anywhere in the world, has it ever crossed your mind that the only entrance to the hotel may be impossible to enter because the door's too heavy? It's never crossed my mind. And it shouldn't. Entering your hotel easily is a pretty basic requirement of a hotel. After straining my back in trying to push the heavy door open, then having to stop a stranger on the street (to ask him to help me), I went to the reception to see if they could address the problem. Their hands were tied. Despite their sympathy, they could do nothing. Their only suggestion: Call us if you can't get in and someone will come to open it for you. Now take a moment to consider this: First, imagine you have travelled many hours to Montpellier, you arrive at night, you are jetlagged, and your phone doesn't work because you just landed and haven't had time to get a new SIM card. What are you supposed to do? I noticed to the left of the door, there is an intercom. But guess what? It's broken. Oh, and here's another issue. One night I returned to the hotel with another woman so together we could push the door open, but we noticed there was no one at reception. Probably had to attend to something else. So if that happens when you call, I guess you're out of luck. When I suggested a solution, ”Prop the door open,” I was told we can't do that for security reasons. So...any man from the street can push the door open but women cannot. So where's the security? And who is the security for? I want to stress that this problem is not caused by the wonderful people who work at the reception. They are frustrated as well by the door. It is the management of the hotel who needs to solve this problem. So for now, the Appart'Hotel Odalys is a great place for men but women beware.
LLEIVery good, clean and tidy service in place, breakfast is delicious, the pool does not have time to go, it should be good, parking charges are a bit bad, more expensive............
GGuest UserThe location is excellent.
It is very close to the Sant Roque station, which is the central station of the city. It is located in the old area very close to the tourist attractions. Good service. It is a hostel opened a month ago. How to improve I would suggest that there be more showers outside the rooms, it can be annoying for the other guests if they use it if they are resting. The tram also passes nearby so bring earplugs.
RRiri974Very good hotel good location for the south part of Montpellier, easy access to foot, tram or car.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre.
After that, it's quite impersonal, live your stay without having to do with the staff.
GGuest UserSuper nice hotel , very nice and professional owner, good 10/10,,in the heart of Montpellier, price quality 10/10 I will surely return to the mid-June , Montpellier is a very pleasant city, just as the hotel the summers
GGuest UserThe staff is of incredible kindness. They do everything to enjoy our stay. The rooms are clean and the custo makes us give the papillae. I strongly recommend :) I spent 4 days in this hotel and I will come back to it
