Frantasic real Ales and lovely atmosphere, love the place! Pool table is in its own room and there is a lovely seating area aswell as a back room Rooms are available but never stopped but did talk to people who said they were nice

I went in search of a decent pint as this pub is in the CAMRA Good Beer guide. Couldn’t get anywhere near their two hand pumps as folk were sat at the bar. Ordered a pint of something which was average. Very noisy to say the least, not my sort of thing but fine for those who clearly enjoy it.

Avoid if you want a quiet stay. The pub is situated on a noisy busy junction. Noise from the pub downstairs. Noise from the loud jukebox. Curtains did not fit windows .Asked for some fresh milk. Still waiting .Decided to leave and not stay the night

Lovely traditional freindly pub room was very clean and had recently been decorated,nothing was a problem felt really welcome from arriving,to leaving. Breakfast was lovely. Good quality bacon and sausage,I would highly recommend this place .

We stayed in The Masons Arms whilst having a night out in Amble, The room was comfortable and well appointed. The were .ample breakfast options,which were well cooked. The staff were cheerful and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back

We visited on mothers day. Great deal. Menu was varied. Excellent, friendly service. We will definitely return. Family run local Pub with rooms available for those wanting to stop over. Dog friendly.

Had a great Sunday lunch at the Masons, and our dog thoroughly enjoyed his doggy dinner. The food was delicious and the staff are so friendly and helpful it will be a regular stop on our walks from now on.

This is an ordinary local pub with rooms. But the rooms are comfortable. Ours needed some very minor work on the decor. The breakfast menu was adequate. Quite a lot of road noise (and for our room from the bar below, until closing time). Service was welcoming and friendly enough.

What a great pub,spotless,staff absolutely great and friendly,weren't doing food but having eaten there before know it's good. Gary at breakfast was very efficient and served a great breakfast got extra toast no problem.you will not go wrong booking here ,staff and locals made it a great night for me and my wife. Will be back.
