Benxi Maple Viewing Hotel rooms are very popular. I booked Shiguang B&B early. It is within walking distance of Guanmenshan National Forest Park. There is a long queue to enter the parking lot of the scenic area. We parked the car at the door of the B&B and walked over to avoid queuing. The B&B is small and exquisite. There are not many rooms but it is well maintained. The public space in the front and back yards and the small backyard of the room are quite romantic. This is my third year visiting Benxi to enjoy the autumn scenery, and I still chose Xixi Hotel without hesitation. The Xiaocao Line from Guanmenshan offers beautiful views along the way.
