Mountain View Hotels in Danjiangkou

Run by a very friendly young couple! I came from wudang west station, took a bus to the wudang scenic spot and the owner came to pick me from the bus station right outside wudang scenic spot. It's about a 2 min drive to the property. Location is very good, love that it is so near the wudang mountain scenic spot. There's a small staircase about 20m from the property that leads you all the way up to the scenic spot parking area. If you wanna pop by their 'city area', it's about a 15min walk to the walking street. Definitely recommend!

The mountain retreat after a heavy snowfall perfectly captured the essence of the place! The owners were incredibly welcoming, running around busily, providing transportation and even offering hot Huangjing water as soon as we arrived. The next morning, they delivered it directly to the cable car station! The children had a blast playing in the snow; the snow was plentiful, and we happened to arrive at sunset. The owner quickly called us over to look, and the breathtaking beauty of nature truly left no room for words. I must say it three times: the food was delicious! The food was delicious! The food was delicious! The big yellow dog at the restaurant was so friendly! I'd recommend installing underfloor heating; it would be perfect!

The most pleasant surprise of this trip to Wudang Mountain was to live in the hidden fairy residence of Wudang Mountain Road. Get up in the morning to watch the sunrise, and return to the tea at dusk. Here, time slows down, and both body and mind can be natural. The location of the homestay is excellent, just near the Nanyan parking lot, super convenient to travel, close to Nanyan Palace, 5 minutes by car to Zixiao Palace. The environment of the homestay is very good, surrounded by mountains, overlooking the highest peak Golden Peak, you can watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds in the morning, and the night lights are also very beautiful in the evening. The courtyard is a new Chinese-style corridor, green plants, full of oriental charm, and the landscape courtyard is beautiful. The two of us lived in a smart big bed room. The room was elegant in Chinese style. The wooden furniture was matched with blue bricks and tiles. It was simple and atmospheric. There were also modern facilities such as smart toilets, heating and air conditioning. It was safe and comfortable to live in. The young lady at the homestay is also super caring and enthusiastic. She makes tea for us as soon as she comes, helps us take pictures, take luggage, and the service is really in place! Come to Wudang Mountain to play, it is right to choose here. Worth recommending, come back next time!

We had an excellent stay here. The room was great, the food was tasty, and the location/views superb. But more than any of that, the next-level service provided by the staff was perhaps the best I have ever received. We had a lot of difficulty navigating the Wudangshan bus system, hiking timing, etc, and the staff were always willing to discuss and solve problems for us over WeChat. Without them our trip would not have been possible. Highly recommend.

This hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

The owner was very warm and friendly, helping us upgrade our room and providing hiking poles. The hotel's food service seems to be outsourced, but the quality and portion sizes are definitely worth it. Breakfast can be delivered to your room. The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite the bus stop down the mountain. There's a swing terrace at the entrance where you can watch the sunrise. It was my child's first time seeing a sunrise, and we also got to see a sky full of stars, which was wonderful.

Finally got to Wudang Mountain for some much-needed relaxation! This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, especially the large terrace – the view is breathtaking. On a clear day, seeing the distant mountains and sea of clouds instantly brings a sense of peace. The room itself is designed in a new Chinese style, with thoughtful details, and the bathroom looks very high-quality; it was a really comfortable stay. Beyond the beautiful scenery, the overall experience was top-notch! In the afternoon, there's complimentary Shenshi tea, perfect for sitting down, sipping tea, and chatting – so pleasant. Breakfast was also delicious, with a rich variety of fresh options that left me feeling energized. You can also catch the sunset over at Nanyan Palace. The biggest surprise was the free Tai Chi class! Practicing Tai Chi with the instructor on the terrace in the evening, with the sky above and mountain breeze, was incredibly therapeutic. The instructor was very professional and responsible, correcting postures hand-in-hand and patiently guiding us, so even beginners could quickly pick it up. The service throughout was superb, making us feel completely at home. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Wudang Mountain!

We had a wonderful stay at Wudang Mountain Yiheju! Our room was very convienient and comfortable, but the best were the owners. They were friendly, polite and very helpful. As it was our first time in China, we had some difficulties. They helped us with a good mood to solve various problems. They were very helpful! The cuisine was excellent, with a variety of Chinese recipes and very high quality. Overall, for the 16 nights we stayed, people did everything to make us feel comfortable and acclimatized. We highly recommend Wudang Mountain Yiheju! Pros: Excellent location, hotel itself is well decorated. Very clean. The room is comfortable. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and nice to have some western style choices. Cons: On our last day morning,the big, heavy window shutter fell off the frame while I was nearby and my forehead got hurt slightly. The hotel manager offered to change rooms for us, but because it was our last day there we decided to stay in the same room. No more compensation was offered to us. There should be a mini fridge and microwave oven in the room, due to no lunch and dinner availability, except for private parties.

Treasure Resort Hotel, nested in the mountains, convenient parking, warm butler, great staff, help me take my luggage to the room, floor heating and air conditioning have been turned on, really good 👍 The restaurant is also very good, the fish must be ordered, fresh and delicious 👍 The hotel is very close to Wudang Mountain, very convenient.
