The mountain retreat after a heavy snowfall perfectly captured the essence of the place! The owners were incredibly welcoming, running around busily, providing transportation and even offering hot Huangjing water as soon as we arrived. The next morning, they delivered it directly to the cable car station! The children had a blast playing in the snow; the snow was plentiful, and we happened to arrive at sunset. The owner quickly called us over to look, and the breathtaking beauty of nature truly left no room for words. I must say it three times: the food was delicious! The food was delicious! The food was delicious! The big yellow dog at the restaurant was so friendly! I'd recommend installing underfloor heating; it would be perfect!

This hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

Guest UserThe most rare surprise of this trip to Wudang was to visit this homestay, which is quiet in the parking lot of Nanyan Palace, but 200 meters away, but like another place to return to the heart. The environment is elegant, the service is micro-level, and the location is just right. You can explore the golden ceiling cloud smoke on the top and visit the Nanyan Palace under the bottom.
What is even more rare is the butler service here, not in a hurry, but considerate everywhere. On the second day, I was rained down the mountain, plus motion sickness, and my body was a little tired. Back to the residence, I prepared a bowl of warm millet porridge. At that moment, the warmth not only rose from the stomach, but also entered the heart.
The chef's craftsmanship is also a must, the dishes are simple but ingenious, the weight is practical, and the taste is home. Between one spoonful and one spoonful, they are the warmest hospitality in the mountains.

Guest UserWhat a gem on my Wudang Mountain trip! This local guesthouse was incredibly reliable. The courtyard was quiet, comfortable, and unique, with wonderfully fresh air. Sitting in the courtyard, basking in the sun, sipping tea, and chatting was pure bliss. The host was incredibly kind and honest, not only providing reliable travel tips but also sharing Taoist tidbits and even offering us some sweet oranges from his own garden. The room was brand new and clean, the smart home appliances were convenient, and the location was fantastic—close to Yuxu Palace and the mountain gate, all within walking distance. The auntie's homemade dishes were delicious and inexpensive, and the conversations were wonderful, making my Wudang trip even more enjoyable.

1. Excellent Location
The next morning, if I were to visit Jinding, Qixingshu was the closest guesthouse to the mountain. The journey took about 2-3 hours. The guesthouse was built in 2012, and the rooms are larger than many nearby. However, being so high up in the mountains, the decor and facilities are understandably dated, though not very convenient.
2. Excellent Hospitality
The owner was very welcoming. Considering I was going to hike the canyon plank road to Wulong Temple the next day, he made sure to up my breakfast, making sure I was well fed, as there would be no places to refill along the way. He even cut a bamboo cane for me to take with me. The cane was crucial; it gave me courage during the six-hour round trip through the deserted canyon. The owner's daughter was also very welcoming. I stayed at her house for three days, drinking tea all day long, which was very refreshing.

The room is the same as described, affordable, clean and hygienic. The boss and his family are also very hospitable and helped us introduce and plan the travel route, which gave us a perfect travel experience. In addition, the boss's cooking skills are also very good. I recommend trying the boss's signature dishes and the boss's wife's handmade noodles. There will be surprises. I will come again next time

🏠Room Environment: A Feast for the Eyes, a Detail-Obsessed Paradise
The moment you step into the room, you're captivated! It's an incredibly soothing retro wood-themed space, with a dark gray ceiling paired with warm-toned pendant lights, and off-white walls that exude quality without feeling cheap. The bedding is so soft and plush; lying down instantly washes away all fatigue, ensuring a restful sleep.
Every corner is filled with thoughtful touches: dried cotton flowers by the window, a vintage barrel-shaped side table, a hand-crocheted tablecloth, and decorative paintings and a geometric mirror on the walls—every snapshot is a masterpiece, no filters needed! The room is impeccably clean, spotless, and fully equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and tea set—it's even more comfortable than home.
📚Common Areas: Overflowing with Healing Charm, Warm and Cozy Like Home
The common areas are absolutely amazing! An entire wall of bookshelves is filled with books. When the sunlight streams in, curling up on the sofa to read a few pages, listening to music from the gramophone, is instantly therapeutic. There's also a vintage gramophone, exquisite tea sets, and plush sofas—whether you're daydreaming, reading, or chatting with the owner, it's incredibly cozy and a true haven during your travels.

Guest UserMr. Xu was very welcoming and eloquent. Upon check-in, he meticulously introduced us to nearby attractions and recommended delicious and affordable restaurants. He gave us bottled water and even helped with our luggage before leaving. The hostess was also very welcoming, offering the best advice for any questions we had, making us feel very warm.
The location is excellent, very close to Yuxu Palace, where the morning Tai Chi practice is particularly lively. It's also close to the snack street, Wudang Mountain Scenic Area, and bus stations, making transportation convenient.
This hotel is budget-friendly. Some facilities are a bit dated, but otherwise functional. The room was generally clean.
Overall, this is a good choice for travelers who value service and location, especially those seeking Wudang Mountain advice and those seeking value.

The B&B is very close to Wudang Mountain West Station, and it takes only 10 minutes to walk. It is also very convenient to go to Wudang Mountain. The room, bed and bathroom are very clean. There is a farm in the village where you can eat (the farm owner is good at cooking). The boss's wife and the boss are very nice and kind. We arrived late at night and they picked us up. In the morning, we were in a hurry and they made breakfast for us. The picture was taken when we arrived. It feels like home after staying here. Thank you for meeting me! I will come again if I have the chance!
