Had a wonderful experience at this hotel, ideally located right at the entrance of Zhaisha Dong Village, offering truly stunning natural scenery. I'd love to bring my family back for another stay. The staff proactively reached out in advance to arrange parking for us and even upgraded our room, which was a lovely touch. The *only* minor downside is that, being so immersed in nature, there were quite a few different kinds of bugs in the room. It could definitely benefit from some more thorough pest control.

Guest UserThis is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review, which just goes to show how thoughtful the owner is! The guesthouse, from its location to its decor, is truly tasteful. The service is incredibly attentive, reflected in all the subtle details. It's not just polite courtesy; they genuinely anticipate your needs. If I ever go with my family again, I'd definitely choose this place. So many friends have already asked me which guesthouse it is just from seeing my WeChat Moments photos – when something's good, I'm happy to recommend it! Wishing the owner a booming business. However, I do have one small suggestion: both my friend and I stayed in separate rooms, and we both felt the only minor drawback was the pillows. They were too soft and not very supportive, which isn't ideal for people with neck issues. Perhaps a batch of slightly firmer pillows could be considered.

Raghunath C G NairAmazing! Fascinating! Fanjingshan was the final stop of our memorable 10-day tour of Guizhou Province, and we truly could not have chosen a better place to conclude our journey. We felt genuinely blessed to stay at this lovely guesthouse for three nights. From the very beginning, the owner Mr. Zhang Haotian and his family made us feel completely at home; they were warm, engaging, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
The rooms are tastefully designed and thoughtfully laid out, perfectly sized for comfort. Our room offered a soothing view of the river, along with a private balcony; an ideal spot to relax with your favourite tea or coffee. The modern touches were impressive too, especially the high-tech sensor toilet, which added a pleasant surprise. The three-storey guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, a thoughtful convenience for guests with heavy luggage or those who may find climbing stairs challenging.
Dinner, lovingly cooked by the family, was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that reflected both their hospitality and culinary skill. Every meal felt homely and satisfying. We only wish we had taken more and better photographs of the guesthouse. Without a doubt, this is one place we will return to.
As for the enchanting Fanjing Mountain itself, the owner drove us to the scenic area entrance. He even offered to pick us up later, but we chose to walk back instead, enjoying the cool climate. Fanjing Mountain is magical in its own right. The steep cable car ride to the summit, which takes over 20 minutes, was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges stretching endlessly around us. At the top stands the age-old Buddhist temple, serene and awe-inspiring, perfectly harmonising with its natural surroundings.
We loved the guesthouse, we are very grateful to Mr. Zhang and his family for their kindness, and deeply thankful for the unforgettable experience at Fanjing Mountain. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable journey.

The hotel is located at the entrance to the road leading to the fanjingshan scenic area.
It will take you around a 15mins walk or so to reach the tourist centre where you can purchase your tickets to enter the park.
The hotel is mostly aurrounded by fellow hotels and restaurants and a tiny weeny convenience stall just beside the hotel.
The plump lady receptionist might sound crude but she is extremely friendly and helpful.
The reception area is sparse but the room is defintely okay.not many guests when i was staying there.
It is worth a stay though there is nothing much to do around the area and if your aim is just to visit fanjingshan

Anonymous UserFacilities: The room facilities are complete, cozy and practical, located within the scenic area, right next to the sightseeing bus stop.
Cleanliness: The room is very clean and tidy.
Environment: The hotel is located within the scenic area, in a quiet and comfortable environment.
Service: The owner's service is excellent; they proactively offer pick-up and drop-off services and provide hiking tips, which are very helpful. However, you can no longer board the sightseeing bus directly at the station; you still need to queue outside the main gate in the morning. It's more suitable for tourists who haven't managed to book the earliest entry time. Regardless of the booking time, the owner can take you into the park as one of the first groups, avoiding most tour groups and quickly getting to Fanjingshan.

It was a very satisfying trip. Before choosing a place, I hesitated about whether to stay closer to the scenic area entrance, but based on my experience, I would recommend staying directly in the village. It's more physically demanding for hiking, and meals are more convenient. The owner can pick you up and drop you off at the scenic area entrance. We also found out after arriving that you can arrange pick-up and drop-off services in Tongren city in advance, and the price is slightly cheaper than taking a taxi. The owners are very easy to talk to, so there's no need to worry about any disputes. Although the facilities aren't particularly high-end, it's worth the price.

Guest UserGreat B&B with strategic & convenient location with different choices of eateries within walking distance. Just a few minutes walk to FanjingShan entrance The owner sent us to KFC nearby with his car and fetched us back with his scooter as car not allowed to enter area where KFC is located. We booked 3 different rooms, all of them are spacious and with great design. This room is perfect for family gathering as we were on family trip. The only area of improvement is the floor that feels dusty on bare foot.

This time I climbed Fanjing Mountain and chose Taihe Hotel. It was really a perfect place to stay for ”a lifetime to climb”. The hotel environment is amazing. The garden-style design is one step at a time. You can also get fish food and feed koi by the pond. I have a great time here. The room was clean and hygienic, and the fresh fruit plate was delivered when I checked in, and the details were intimate to the bone. The most pleasant surprise is the price/performance ratio. This quality is a handful at the foot of the mountain. The service staff is warm and thoughtful and must be praised! Going out to the matcha town, going down the mountain to go shopping, buying some specialties, drinking a cup of matcha, the itinerary is rich and not monotonous. I have planned to brush it for the second time. I will take my family to stay for a few more days next time. It is worth it for a pure vacation! Strongly push to all mountaineering partners ~ 🌿🐟🏔️

Guest Userto be honest, This hotel is definitely good value for money. Compared to hotels near shops, I prefer accommodations that are some distance away from Fanjing Mountain. One of the reasons is that if you want to walk around shops or go shopping at night, you will be disturbed and forcefully sold to by many people.
The hotel provides many services including transportation to the entrance of Fanjing Mountain and breakfast. This is a very thoughtful service and I am very satisfied with it.
There are many restaurants near the hotel, and many locals dine there.
Choosing 3D2N is definitely the first choice. Going up and down the mountain consumes a lot of energy. After we came down the mountain, we went straight to the hotel and slept for 14 hours. The only downside to being near Fanjing Mountain is that it is very far to other attractions. Make sure you can catch a car or bus back to the hotel before nightfall.
