Perfect
GGuest UserI used to hear my elders say that rammed earth houses were very comfortable when I was a child. They had good insulation, could return to the earth, and were environmentally friendly. After experiencing it here, I have to admire the wisdom of our ancestors; I slept soundly until morning. I'm also even more impressed that the guesthouse owner spent 7 years building China's first rammed earth wellness architectural complex, which includes:
15 Guest Rooms: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mattresses & Pillows
The mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable. After the owner introduced the brand, I couldn't help but give a thumbs up. I can only say that they are truly willing to spend money to ensure guests get a good night's sleep here – it's totally worth it!
Restaurant (seats 30): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service
The restaurant staff are all local villagers, and during meals, I experienced their thoughtfulness and hospitality. What I remember most about breakfast are the local savory butter tea and fried *baba*. There's also a super cozy real fireplace.
Coffee & Book Bar: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hand-Drip Coffee
As an old tea drinker who isn't particularly keen on coffee, I actually developed an urge to learn more about coffee here. The loft relaxation area (a favorite with kids) and the outdoor viewing area (super photogenic) are wonderfully designed.
Yoga & SPA Space: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything is Great
I searched on Xiaohongshu and found that there are quite a few people who love it as much as I do.
Sound Earth Theater: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (As many stars as possible!)
A theater where you can lie down to listen to music and watch videos. A true audio-visual feast that you need to experience for yourself!
Cigar & Wine Tasting Room: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Host's Passion and Professionalism
The host has a great passion for and professional understanding of cigar, spirits, and wine appreciation. Plus, they have a very impressive sommelier certification.
AAnonymous UserThe room is large and well-equipped with complete facilities. There is a smart toilet. The design is very thoughtful and the bedding is very comfortable.
The courtyard outside the room is carefully decorated and beautiful. You can sit in the courtyard to eat and enjoy the scenery. There are rice fields outside the house, which is very pastoral and quiet.
However, when I originally booked the room, I went because the reviews said that the boss lady’s cooking was delicious and that breakfast was included (after all, 450 is not very cheap). However, during the two days we stayed, only the boss received us, and breakfast was the third. One day we only had eggs and white porridge. On the second day, when we expressed that we were not full and demanded some dry food, we got one steamed bun and a few pickles per person.
Most of the dinner consisted of dishes that we had packed back for lunch. The boss helped me heat them up, plus a stir-fried bacon and boiled pea sprouts (the pea sprouts were very fresh, but they really didn’t have any flavor, and there was no salt... ) I’m really hungry every day…
Generally speaking, the hardware facilities are good, but the service has not kept up... and this comment is because the boss didn't push me twice to write a comment within 24 hours after we left. I wrote down my true feelings.
To whom it may concern
GGudemogenThe air conditioning and heating effect of the room is good, the bedding is comfortable, the hot water is fast, the host arranged room 308 for us, the starry sky is particularly beautiful at night, it is very convenient to see the golden monkey, breakfast is also sent to the room, too comfortable, rocking chair Looking at the mountain view is very healing
XXiangyizhizailushangdeTVery warm and comfortable, quiet, good sound insulation. Parking is available in the yard, which is very convenient. The young lady and the boss are very enthusiastic and help in every way. I especially like this small village. The thousand-year-old ginkgo at the head of the village is very beautiful, but it is still early and has not completely turned yellow.
It’s really really good. It’s the most worthwhile place for our trip to Yunnan. Because it’s off-season, the beautiful boss upgraded us to a big bed room with a balcony when we checked in. The whole homestay is built on the mountain. It has a sense of design. The room is oversized. The two floor-to-ceiling windows are outside the window. The beautiful viewing location of the mountains and rivers, whether it is lying on the bed, nesting on the sofa, and doing it on the balcony, you can see the green mountains and green waters. It is really healing and relaxing. I wanted to go around, but the room was too good to stay. I didn't lie down for two days. The room is clean and tidy, hot water is sufficient, there is a smart toilet, and the mattress quilt is also good to sleep. The beautiful boss personally cooks and prepares breakfast. The dishes are 5 or 6. They are all local specialties. They also tell us that if you are not used to eating the next day, you can prepare noodles or rice noodles. It is really intimate. If you go to Yunnan to play and pass by Tacheng, you must come here for a few nights. Trust me, don't hesitate, close your eyes!
GGuest UserWe had a great stay at this family-fun guesthouse (we are a family of three, travelling with a 3-year-old). The owners were super-friendly and very generous - they offered us complimentary fruit, including watermelon from their own field behind, wild honey, and even cooked some wild mushrooms that we had picked in the woods for us (after double-checking that they were edible!)
The guestrooms are clean, light, comfortable and spacious - and there is air conditioning available in case it's slightly warmer in the summer months. The mattresses were also fairly comfortable.
The location is great - next to a river, about a 10-minute drive up from Tacheng Town. This makes getting to the monkey reserve and Damozushi Temple (the main attractions) more convenient.
On the food side, the breakfast was hearty to the extreme and varied from day to day, with various local specialties including local ******* Yak Butter Tea. Pretty much everything was homemade. You can also eat there in the evenings to avoid driving to town - and the lady that runs it is a great cook.
Other pros include the lovely decking by the river and the walkway that the village has developed along the river bank - perfect for a morning/evening stroll, or in our case, taking our little one for a spin on her balance bike.
We live in Lijiang, so not too far away - and will definitely be coming back to stay here again.
WWanderingBritGood sized room, with complementary tea and water.
I had dinner downstairs and it was great value. I completely over ordered but they packed it up for me which was great
Stayed there to try and see the Yunnan Snub Nosed Monkeys.
Sadly I found out that the park was closed because of landslides. Nothing the hotel could have done about it, and they were helpful in arranging a bus back to Shangri-La once I'd found out.
No English was spoken, but they would help me through my translate app where I asked them.
GGuest UserGood location, very close to Hada Village, 20 minutes drive from Platinum Monkey National Park, so if you are looking at monkeys, you don't have to live in the park, it's the same.
The room facilities are very new, there are tea (non-bag tea) for guests to drink, although close to the roadside, but sleep at night does not feel noisy.
The surroundings are very good, the window is wide, and the pastoral scene is coming.
The rice noodles that we had for breakfast were not cooked in two bowls. The boss reboiled the noodles for us. It was really intimate.
In short, everything is very satisfactory, I hope that the epidemic will end as soon as possible, and I can come back one day.
