The farmhouse was lovely, a 5-minute walk from Xinglong Mountain Scenic Area. The courtyard was clean, spacious, and bright. A small slope opposite the courtyard led uphill, where orchards and cornfields lined both sides, creating a tranquil environment. I enjoyed a morning stroll with my dog ​​along the paths through the fields. The courtyard had no walls, but was surrounded by its own homegrown vegetables: scallions, chili peppers, lettuce, bok choy, and other greens. The owner's cooking was superb, far exceeding our expectations for farmhouse meals. All the ingredients were homegrown, purely organic, resulting in a unique and flavorful taste.
