The soundproofing was very poor, and we were disturbed by the sound of the river all night, so we didn't sleep well. It would be better if the campsite provided a fire pit, so we could gather around it to chat or roast marshmallows."

GGuest UserAn amazing place up in the mountain, peaceful and tranquil, great for an escape. It's located lower down than the main village street and only takes a few minutes if walking. However, the owner was incredible, spoke fluent English and on my arrival took me to all the noteworthy places by vehicle which are within 1km. He always offered to take me somewhere if I was going out.
The room was very spacious, clean and decorated fitting in with the Japanese theme, the view was good and there's also a balcony accessed from the outside. Bath was good to soak after exploring during the day. The service and food are great, hotpot was delicious, breakfast and coffee perfect. Well worth a visit, highly recommend!!! 💯🔥

It was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese establishment, and I must say I was very pleased. An experience definitely worth repeating, thanks also to the unique and always helpful staff. GGuest UserI believe I selected the wrong room type, as it was located on the corner near the roadside. There were no views, and the sound of frogs after 8 p.m. was disruptive. The breakfast options were limited and could be improved. I also recommend extending T. Story’s restaurant hours to midnight, since the current last order is at 7:15 p.m. Overall, the experience was positive, and the staff were courteous.

”We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Nelamit. The room with its stunning view was a highlight, and the warm temperature provided by the heater was much appreciated. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our time, we did notice some minor areas for improvement. The dome could benefit from a deeper clean to address some minor fungal growth. Additionally, we believe the room rate should include complimentary soap for the bathtub, which would enhance the overall guest experience.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the owner for maintaining such a lovely property and for the dedication of their staff, particularly during both peak and off-season periods. We hope these suggestions will be considered for future guests.”
