Hotels in Taxia Tulou Scenic Area, Nanjing

It was a very special and wonderful 2-night stay. We loved everything about the property, especially the breakfast and tea gifts. The staff, from the reception to the kitchen, and the owner, whom we ran into and had a little chat, were all so friendly, and that made you feel very much welcome. We highly recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in Taxia Village.

Sorry to only write a review today... I came to this B&B when I was traveling with my kids. I first saw it on the Ctrip platform and the response was very good. So with the mentality of giving it a try, I booked a room a month in advance. After arriving, Just as I imagined, the environment is elegant, with small bridges and flowing water, cicadas chirping and birds chirping. It is in a scenic spot, which is very convenient. Hygienic and clean, no different from the pictures, and the toiletries are also very useful. This is the style of a B&B that I like very much. It can be seen from the brick-by-brick planning and furnishings that the proprietress is a very loving person. The proprietress is very good at cooking and is very patient. Seeing that my children and I wanted to climb the earthen building at night, she was worried about accompanying us. It made me feel like I had returned to my own home. It was very warm. I had been to many places and I never wanted to leave here. . Miss, I will go again and look forward to meeting you.

The owner of the B&B is very nice and enthusiastically introduced me to the fun places and delicious food around. The B&B is surrounded by the beautiful Tasha Village, which is only 400 meters away from the B&B. It is just right for a walk after dinner. The viewing platform is also spectacular, and it feels like overlooking the Tulou. In general, this B&B experience in Nanjing Tulou Tasha Village is very satisfactory. Whether it is the room, environment or service, I can feel the local cultural environment and local enthusiasm.

1. The hotel is very clean and tidy. 2. The room rate is moderate, the environment is clean, very quiet, and the lighting is very good. 3. Every detail of the hotel is very thoughtful, making customers feel at home. In particular, the boss is very considerate and enthusiastic. He took the initiative to introduce us to nearby attractions and the history of the earth building where we stayed. He also made tea and water for us and asked about our well-being. 4. The location is excellent. It is right in the village and there is free parking. It is very convenient for self-driving! 5. The room facilities are complete, the service staff is of high quality, and the overall value for money is excellent.

As it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.

This is one of the best homestay experiences that I ever had. The homestay is located in Taxia Village which is quieter and less commercialized in Tulou scenic areas that provide lots of privacy for the guests. The room and the building are located just next to the clear water stream. At night, I can even hear the stream of water flowing sounds. The villagers are very friendly to the tourists walking around. They are not pushy about selling any commercial products to tourists which is very contrast to the other commercializedTulou scenic areas. The owner/host is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. This differentiates from the other hotel staying experience. I also got help on how to get around the Tulou scenic areas and where to get reasonable price restaurants from the host. 这是一个非常好的民宿。 这民宿地点是在塔下村。 塔下村是个地点比较安静， 不商业化的土楼景区。 对住客来说是很有私人空间。民宿就在河溪旁边，晚上睡觉时， 还可听见河溪的流水声。 早上在塔下村四处走走， 村民都对游客很友善， 没有对我有任何商业销售产品的压力。 民宿的老板很友善， 很肯帮助客人。这跟一般的其他酒店的住宿都很不一样。 老板也指点我如何去其他的土楼景点， 和去附近的价钱公道的餐馆用餐。

I would like to thank all staffs for making our 2 nights stay so comfortable and amazing. They are all very helpful and their services are really wonderful. The place is very neat and clean. I brought my 16 months old girl to the retreat. They have specifically prepared her dinner based on my requirement and I must say that their food are really very delicious. Highly recommend for this retreat! Will definitely come back to this place again when I am here again.

The experience brought by this price is really worth it. Every space in the whole homestay is very beautiful, and the decorator is crazy about collecting some inspiration. In addition, the air in Tasha Village is very good. After staying for two days, I feel like I can live two more years.

I had an amazing stay. The location is incredible, just next to one of my favourite Tulou clusters. The family was super welcoming! I had the honour to share dinner with them and that made my experience even better as I'm a solo traveler. Even though they don't really speak English, we could discuss through online translator. A very cost-effective B&B. Although the room is not big, it is hygienic and clean. The balcony on the third floor can also be used to dry clothes. The boss is very enthusiastic and takes good care of the guests. It is not a self-driving service. The boss can help with pick-up and drop-off when he is free, and the charges are also reasonable. The dishes cooked by the proprietress are also appetizing, which is a perfect solution to the problem of taking children to eat. There is a small open space at the door where the baby can move around. Although it rained this time, I also saw fireflies. Although there were not many, I was very satisfied.
