Gokasanso ★★★
"Quiet and relaxing, the hot springs are also very good"
Fukuno Town Hotel A・Mieux ★★
"The breakfast was very delicious. I had to choose Western and Japanese food at check-in. I chose Western food and my family chose Japanese food, but both had a number of items and were very satisfied with a reasonable price. It was a little inconvenient to have to bring it by yourself because the amenities were not in the room. I couldn't get a hotel around Kanazawa, so I was taken care of here, but it was good because I was able to sightsee Gokasayama."
Omaki Spa Kanko Ryokan ★★
"This is a secluded hot spring inn that can only be reached by boat. It takes 30 minutes by boat from the Shonai Gorge boat dock, but we enjoyed a cruise around the Shonai Gorge. The room was a beautiful Japanese-style room with 10 tatami mats and a wide veranda. It is better to wear slippers or sandals to go to the open-air bath (for women). There were several people who came barefoot, but they said that it was very painful for the soles of their feet. There are also two open-air baths, but it is better to wear slippers when going to the open-air bath at the back. The open-air bath has good water and a nice view of the river. The washing area and bathroom of the women's middle bath are modern and clean. Lotions and other products are also available. The large bath, which you can reach by going down the stairs, has the atmosphere of a hot spring resort. There are three baths of different temperatures, one of which is deep. The hot spring is a nice, relaxing water with a slight sulfur scent. It was water that clung to the skin. Meals were served at the venue, at 6:00 p.m. in the evening and 7:30 a.m. in the morning. The dinner was very good and I was very satisfied. 13 dishes were brought out one after another, and each dish looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Local specialties such as white shrimp were used, as well as seafood such as blackthroat seaperch and conger eel. The roast pork and seasonal hot pot were also pork, and were very filling. I couldn't eat rice or soup, so I refrained. There were small amounts of various dishes for breakfast. There were steamed bread and grilled fish that I don't usually eat. I learned that the 7:30 breakfast time was timed to accommodate people who were boarding the 9:00 a.m. boat. (The boat leaves at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.) I felt that the hospitality of the meal was sufficient. There were quite a few stink bugs in the building and in the rooms, so if you hate bugs, be careful when staying there. The person who showed me to my room was a little rude. The front desk staff were very helpful, offering umbrellas when it was raining. On the return trip, it was raining, but I thought the scenery was even better in the rain. I think that a hotel you can stay at by boat will be a once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable experience."
Gokayama Ryokan Yoshinoya ★★
"Nice Ryokan with a public bath. We visited in winter and the room was comfortably heated."
Nakanoya ★★
"1 I was late for about an hour, but I was able to have dinner slowly. It's a friendly couple. I brought Shiba dogs and put them in the cage in the room for one night. There were some places from Toyama city that could not be separated. I was worried that I made a mistake in the car navigation system because I didn't know the land. It is a well-maintained road from the direction of Nagoya Gifu. The meal was so much that I was sorry, and there was beer. It's a friendly couple."
Gokayama Onsen Akaokan ★★
"Very good location. The hotel is mid-way between Shirakawgko and other two villeges."
Satoyama Auberge & Hot Spring Wellness Spa Sakuragaike Kurgarden ★★★★
"Give this one a miss, clearly they DON'T LIKE FOREIGN PEOPLE, would not let us eat in the restaurant in the evening even though it was empty, then when we booked it for breakfast we were the first to arrive they tried to send us out of the hotel to a rest stop cafe even though again they're restaurant was completely empty. Didn't want me to use the barth or swimming pool because of tattoos (which I understand) but saw other Japanese people with after I complained and got in.the restaurant they sent us to in the evening (10 km away) which they told us that they have made a reservation for refused to serve us. I have never made a review like this before even at bad hotels.IF YOU DON'T LIKE FOREIGNERS DON'T ADVERTISE ON FOREIGNERS WEBSITES"
Métisse Stay ★★
Horinji Spa ★★
"The service is thorough and efficient. It's a simple inn. For a hot spring inn with free-flowing natural spring water, this price is quite reasonable, wouldn't you say?"
