After arriving at the reservoir, we took a boat into the reservoir and the scenery along the way was very nice.

It was a truly unexplored region that could only be reached by train, bus, and boat! Everyone at the inn was kind and warm! The food was full in the evening and in the morning...because there weren't many guests after the Obon festival, I was able to enjoy the hot springs in private. Since there are many TV shootings of murder cases, there were autographs and photos of actors in the hall, which was interesting.

The idea came about because my wife wanted to go to an inn that appears in a suspense drama. I was intrigued by the fact that it was a hidden hot spring inn that could only be accessed by boat. As expected, there were pictures and autographs of many actors on display. I have never seen an inn with so many options. The food was Toyama's specialty white shrimp and firefly squid, and the alcohol was Tateyama, dry and refreshing. I was wondering if I should order it in a glass, but I was told that if there was any leftover, I could take it back to my room in a bottle, so I chose the bottle so I had more options. I stayed for one day, but I thought it would be nice to stay for two days to relax. There are three hot springs for men and women in the surrounding area, and it seemed like you could walk to the power facility for a walk. Perhaps it was because it was a weekday, but there were also groups, so I think it depends on the timing, but the open-air bath other than the large bath was reserved for private use. The staff seemed to be very busy during dinner time, but they were friendly and nice. This time it was in August, but looking at the photos, it looks like fall and winter would be nice as well, so I'd definitely like to come back in a different season.

I've wanted to stay there ever since I read about it in a book a long time ago. Even when I looked at the tour pamphlet sent by the travel agency, I had the impression that it was a long way from Matsumoto. However, after doing some research, I found out that you can get there from Toyama by taking the Ka***aki Shinkansen. I thought it was close, so I went there. As you board the Shogawa Gorge sightseeing boat and proceed along the Shogawa River, your expectations will rise at once. It's an unexplored inn. The employees were kind and polite, the inn itself was well maintained, and the food tasted good, so I was glad I went.

The room I stayed in didn't have a bath, so of course I went to the hot springs, but the inside of the hotel was like a maze, so it was hard to get there. Moreover, the open-air bath that I was expecting is outside, and I finally arrive after going down the dark stairs and passing the scary signboard. It was an open-air bath that I really didn't want to enter, with only a dressing room and no washing area. I was impressed that this would be a suspense drama. It seems that men had a terrace bath facing the river, but I wonder why women only have such a dangerous open-air bath. In the hall, colored papers of celebrities were lined up in a row, and a large fusuma painting by artist Tsurutaro Kataoka was also seen.

This inn often appears in the media as an inn in a hidden area that can only be reached by sightseeing boat. It's a large inn and there are a lot of families and groups, and since there are only two boat times, check-in and check-out are very crowded, and it's hard to find a room. It was a Japanese-style room facing the lake, but it had two small beds, and the futons couldn't be raised or lowered. There is a large selection of dishes, but the prices are not as good as they should be, and the food delivery is not related to the pace of the customers. The public bath has a nice a**osphere, but there are too many customers, so the water has to be added. The outdoor terrace is blindfolded so you can't see the lake, and there is chlorine instead of running water. There aren't many people in the open air, but you'll have to climb 50 stone steps on the mountain side instead of the lake side. One of the women's bathrooms has a circulating hot spring, which is pathetic. Wifi doesn't work in the room, and you can only pay by cash. Overall, at this price level, I felt that the number of customers and the number of people serving and the hospitality were not commensurate with each other.

A 5-star inn, a secluded inn that you can reach by sightseeing boat! I went to Omaki Onsen Tourist Inn, which I have been interested in for a long time with the catchphrase. My husband and I always want to arrive at the hot spring inn early and relax, but this time the sightseeing boat departs at 3:20 p.m. . The sightseeing boat was full of guests staying that day, and I felt a little depressed and entered the inn. Mr. Nakai skillfully guided 50 to 60 guests to their rooms. The room was refurbished in places and cleaned well, and there was a feeling of cleanliness and I was a little relieved. As expected, the public bath was full of arriving guests, but I was able to take a bath at the right time. I personally love baths with bar soap. I had a kaiseki meal at the restaurant. The seasoning is delicious, the serving time is short, and it feels good personally. I didn't mind the distance between the neighbors. Before going to bed, I took a relaxing bath in the open-air bath and the terrace bath. The feeling of being depressed when we arrived cleared up the next morning, and we both thought it would be good to visit again. I gave it 4 stars because there was no hot water in the washroom in the room and the departure time of the sightseeing boat was late.
