徒旅居住了三日背包房，第一天因老闆娘去上課（有事先徵得同意），在外流了浪三個多小時，意外更深入地認識了埔里小鎮。設施一應俱全，一人獨居六人套房，熱水供應充足。房間個人附有加鎖櫃及拉簾，進出使用磁卡鎖，隱私與安全算優的。免費洗衣脫水值得加分，冰熱飲機每層樓都有，並附茶包。近仁愛圓環，為埔里交通中心點，為各路公共巴士均會經過之點。附近生活機能健全，算是埔里中心點。

飯店為了環保，可以用重複使用的皮拖或是塑膠拖鞋，要另外付費購買紙拖鞋，覺得也沒有多環保。或是訂單成立後，使用簡訊或是郵件提醒，都比入住才發現沒拖鞋來得好。
