This is the worst hotel in ten cities in Italy. The smell is terrible, formaldehyde. I couldn't breathe for two days. The location is hard to find in the mountains. The eggs and onions I just bought were stolen from the refrigerator in the kitchen. The air conditioner in the room does not heat. The sheets were not changed. I saw the waiter throwing the quilt on the floor while cleaning. The bed is very low. Extremely uncomfortable to live with. The ten-person room was simply extremely uncomfortable. There are also beds on the roof. This hotel is just a fool. The front desk service is pretty good. But the hardware is terrible. It's really one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed in.

I had a hard time finding the entrance and getting in, which may be the case with other hostels in Naples. The staff were very friendly, and you could play table tennis in the courtyard. The atmosphere was great.

Quite good rooms - quieter than a lot of hostels as the rooms seem quite sound proof from other rooms, though they are small if you're in a dorm. Nice rooftop terrace and courtyard gardens. Staff: some friendly and some (one) seem judgemental. Careful with the airport taxi they order for you - I think the Taxi driver they ordered for me scammed me. The driver wouldn't take the money when I tried to pay and started saying I owed him more - the hostel said 22.50, and he said no it was 25 euros because it was nighttime. As it was 4am and I was tired, I wasn't exactly going to start arguing, so I felt taken advantage of. Plus he then tried to give me back the wrong change, and I had to go to his window and ask for the rest of the money. The hostel needs to clarify this with guests, or use a different company.

By far the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Walking through the door you enter a little haven amongst the busy city - central but calm and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I loved the daybeds and hammocks in the garden outside but the best part was the rooms. Lovely wooden bunks with privacy curtains, comfy beds and pillows, complimentary towel and clean bathrooms, everything as pictured in the photos. You can tell a lot of thought and care was taken to make this the place that it is, the only downside to my stay was that it was sold out and I couldn’t extend!

Hidden gem is an understatement as it does take some finding however it is well worth the effort and once you have your bearings it’s actually very easy to get to. The garden is a haven of piece in a frenetic city and the classes that they run each day adds to the sense of calm but is only a short stroll via the elevator to Piazza Dante and the higgledy piggledy cobbled lanes of the old quarter. A real find.

This place was absolutely unbelievable, we loved every second of our time here. The stuff were kind, welcoming and informative; the receptionist knew everything there was to do in Naples and gave great recommendations. The hostel itself is honesty beautiful, everything they say about it is true. Great location, right near centre, easy walk to beach, metro, centre of town. Feels very safe and secure with great privacy and great artwork. You can also shower outside amongst the plants, absolutely sensational! All really clean, great facilities, overall great atmosphere and vibes. Thank you!!!!!!!!

The secret garden Hopestel in Napoli is for me the best escape in Italy. Naples is busy. But in the hostel you can find peace and lovely people. The rooms are a dream and the garden a spectacle. They offer Yoga, Painting lessons and more. Thank you for everything 🍋🍕🌸

Recommended recommended recommended, surprising place within characteristic neighborhoods of Naples; the guests feel at home.....maybe make an agreement with them otherwise they will party until late in the common areas, but it was New Year's Eve and that's okay. Compliments to the manager: welcome, hospitality and kindness

Hopestel is a beautiful Exclusive and Eco-sustainable Hostel that stands out from the others for its uniqueness! Today Hopestel Secret Garden is an Oasis of peace. Beauty of nature thanks to its large garden which also gives an interior beauty. I am native Neapolitan and I have traveled half of Europe for study and work. Never seen an environment with such eco-sustainable rooms in the heart of the historic center of Naples! A few meters from the Nitsch Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art "Casa Morra" and the Association in Piazza Dante "SHŌZŌ SHIMAMOTO" and the Academy of Fine Arts! 10 minutes walk from Via Toledo and Quartieri Spagnoli, Piazza Dante, MANN Archaeological Museum, Music Conservatory and the university student district. Close to the centuries-old Greco-Roman city and Via SpaccaNapoli! A stone's throw from the center full of trattorias, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, wine bars, nightlife and shopping streets. In particular, the entire structure is equipped with a large garden with shared spaces with hammocks and large sofas that give you the opportunity to read a good book in complete serenity or play ping pong with the other guests. In the large Garden you will find a tribute to Gaia the Goddess of the earth and prosperity and a particularly rare South American Cactus given by the South American Missionaries to the Capuchin nuns. You will find shared internal spaces such as a beautiful, very spacious living room with one of the solid wood tables made to measure by expert and knowledgeable hands! The high ceiling of the living room is well restored and very charming. The shared living room table offers board games available to everyone. The large shared kitchen is Eco sustainable. Thank you all for the exceptional hospitality!!!!

It is a little hidden in the old town district of Naples and from the outside it doesn't look very inviting. The entrance and reception are on the first floor and from there you can also access the beautiful garden area. The rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly and speaks good English. In 10 minutes on foot you are in the middle of the turbulent old town. If, like us, you arrive by car, the journey is adventurous as there is no parking space in front of the accommodation. The traffic in Naples is the worst I have ever experienced in Europe. I can only warmly recommend this accommodation.

One of a kind structure! Convenient location for arriving either by metro (Dante) and then a ten minute walk through an authentic and safe neighborhood, or by taxi to the front door. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. An enchanting garden where you can have breakfast or simply relax after visiting one of the most beautiful cities ever. Clean and comfortable rooms even for 4 people, common kitchen for those who, like us, prefer to opt for a comfortable dinner with punctual delivery! We will definitely be back... can't wait! Thank you very much Nazzarena & Family
