We had 3- nights booked at this beautiful hotel, but canceled… beware! We canceled because we could not get dinner reservations as guests in our own hotel. The hotel booked the entire restaurant during the time we were there to an outside group. This included both lunch and dinner. When you’re paying this amount of money, they should not be allowed to do this. Our only option was to get room service or on the final night we could eat at their pub, but no fine dining was available during our entire stay or lunch. Also, this luxury hotel does not have an elevator or lift of any kind. First floor room 20+ steps up. We were extremely disappointed, not to stay at this hotel, but in the end had to cancel.

Wow, what a special place. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Chateau Capitoul the rooms in the main chateau were clean and traditional and still retaining its historic heritage. We loved the breakfast and enjoyed dining at their in-house Asado three times. The car park was large and spacious with electric car charging facilities. The estate was great for walking around with many wide footpaths through the vineyards. I did use the outside swimming pool one morning which I must say was large and the water fresh but it was late September in all fairness. The exterior pool has changing and shower facilities.

Beautiful chateau in immaculate condition and very well run. Facilities, including the spa, are all excellent. Staff are all committed to helping guests enjoy the stay. Our weeekend felt very special

We stayed a night here, did a wonderful private wine tasting to start, very knowledgeable, spoke English well and great wine. Spent a few hours in their spa area - nice pool and hot tub and sauna to relax. Had a tasty steak dinner at the restaurant on site and similarly great breakfast there. Room was beautiful tucked up in attic. Great service, very luxurious, lovely location

Great wine and location. Free wine tasting on site. Free bike hire to ride into Guissan or further to Narbonne along cycle track. Lots of activities to do things put on by the hotel and also around the surrounding areas.

Fantastic accommodations (private villas), amazing views and scenery. Staff is very friendly and the pool has stunning views. Ladies at the pool bar (Charlotte, Léa and Olivia) were also great, and never shy of making a nice ice cream for our 4-yr old daughter!

We couldn't have been happier throughout our week at Chateau Capitoul. The level of thought, care and attention applied to everything was second to none, with the most stunning surroundings and villa views to die for! It almost feels like a hidden gem, with us only finding out about this company through a friend's recommendation, and we have already told many others about it too. Well suited for couples, friends, families and business.
