During our four days in Cairo, one of our dreams was to have dinner with our kids while gazing at the pyramids in the background. What we got was so much more. King, the owner, not only served us incredible food—he welcomed us with warmth, generosity, and a spirit that turned a simple meal into something unforgettable. In just a few hours, we bonded and built an authentic friendship that will stay with us far beyond that evening. We couldn’t have asked for a more genuine experience. Thank you, King, for the amazing night and for the gift of friendship.

This hotel has an incredible view as the name suggests which we enjoyed by night and day. Our host Adel was extremely hospitable and we were very well looked after. He organised a great day trip to Darshar and Saqqara which was very reasonable.

We were there for 4 days, the owner and the staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast is very delicious and plentiful. The photos show the reality, everything is clean and orderly. We asked for help with anything, we received information immediately, we arrived at night and the owner was waiting for us at the door. The view is beautiful!

Stayed for 4 nights in April 2022 at the start of Ramadan . Adel and his family are super accommodating and their home-cooked meals are only overshadowed by the views of the Pyramids at their door step - Literally! Adel will be more than happy to help you arrange any trips around Egypt and the location is very secure.

The inn doesn't look like much as you drive up in the taxi, and the surroundings are daunting at first. However, greeted at the door by Adel the owner with a warm smile, shown to our room and shown the absolutely amazing view! Room is great, bed comfortable and big. Bathroom is small but functional. We were offered dinner and what a feast! Nothing was ever too much trouble. We organised a trip to the pyramids for the next day, through Adel, and we certainly got our money's worth. A full on day, after a hearty breakfast, with Mustafa, our private guide and a driver. Fully recommend having a guide for the pyramids rather than going it alone. All in all, a fantastic stay and was sad to leave. Would love to visit the other 2 inns in Egypt with same owner.

I am staying here 01/23. The hotel is about 1 minute walk to the entrance of pyramids ticket office! So close! 1 minute’s walk to some restaurants and on the rooftop. The pyramids are right in front of you! I mean right there and not covers! Also the owner King is a super nice gentleman!

Pros: price, proximity to the Giza necropolis and commercial streets. The rooms are fine, especially for the price. Cons: 1- Breakfast. Ful (made of fava beans) and Egyptian bread is not a proper breakfast for the vast majority of travelers. Where was the coffee? You can spend the same money and make people a lot happier with a more international selection. 2- The Dahshur/Saqqara guide we hired through the hotel. If you care about your guests please find a better guide. Ours didn't offer much, had limited information (I swear I felt that I knew more), but worst of all, seemed to be in a rush to get us back to Giza. In a place like Saqqara, with so much to do, the recommendation of the guide cannot be to drive back home before the place closes. Limited English too. 3- Our host came across as more interested in upselling than anything else. For example, suggesting us to hire his man (a guide) for the pyramids visit, this in order to avoid the hassle. He also said that inside the pyramids a camel ride would cost us over a hundred dollars each, so we should make arrangements before the visit. None of this was true. We found the hassle manageable, and the camel rides were going for a lot less (note that we didn't pay for a camel ride because in the glorious weather of November there is nothing better than just walking the necropolis). We also had a very small accounting issue at the end of our stay. Another story: he suggested that for our visit to Cairo we shall hire a car. Uber would be more expensive. Simply not true. We did Uber and paid less than half of what we would have spent with his driver. You get the trend. Pro and con (you choose): we stayed two nights. During the first night we had a lot of noise: dogs barking and fighting; and the 5am call to pray. I find this type of things authentic and valuable; but at least one of the members of my group would have preferred to sleep better. One more item: I'm not necessarily in love with the view. It's not the hotel fault, and it's true that is unobstructed and right in front of the pyramids. But what you need to know, and you can check it using Google maps, is that the foreground of the view is a bunch of rubble from buildings recently demolished. There are also plastic bottles, and other forms of garbage.
