when we walked into the hotel, we saw a lot of people playing in the swimming pool, some women wearing skirts with black scarfs on their heads, men wearing T-shirt, they playing, laughing, even eating in the water, making the water disgusting, we were totally shocked! there's a restaurant in the hotel, they were holding a party from evening to midnight, playing music every every loudly! there was a machine just close to the room, I don't know what kind of machine is, I took a picture, it made noise loudly just liked a big truck driving pass your room all the time . Mosquitoes are extremely abundant in the room, but there's no mosquito net or mosquito incense. you can imagine the disgusting pool, the loud noise all the night, abundant mosquitoes, making the hotel like a hell for the guests. I can take legal responsibility for what I said is true!游泳池里很多人穿服泡在水里，女的穿裙子包头巾，男的穿短袖T恤，他们又闹又笑甚至在游泳池里吃东西！晚上酒店的餐厅举办party直到半夜11点半45分才结束，音乐声震动窗子哗哗响。房间旁边有个机器，不知道是什么，像个大卡车一样整晚响不停，这里简直就是一个地狱！我可以为我说的真实性负法律责任

The room is big and I am quite satisfied with the price. The bed is clean and the food tastes good. We felt very comfortable on the second morning here. However, I need to give a suggestion to the hotel. It is better to install glass in the bathroom window, otherwise the blinds alone cannot prevent mosquitoes from entering. Fortunately, the air conditioner was cold enough that night and it was equipped with mosquito repellent.

This hotel is the most cost-effective in my trip. The previous two adults and one child were all over 2000, but here there is no need to add a bed. It is within three digits. I saw that the room next door costs more than 2,000. The room is large and the balcony is also super large. The front desk helped us upgrade the room for free. The whole hotel feels like a resort. It is in the villa area and very quiet. Next time I come to Negombo, Sri Lanka, I must stay two more nights.

This hotel is our first stop when we arrived in Sri Lanka. It's a pity that our flight arrived at night, so we felt the attentive service when we arrived at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. A heartfelt thank you to the General Manager and the entire staff for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The room was spotless, the amenities were excellent, and the hospitality was truly warm. The food was absolutely delicious – every meal was a delight, with a great variety and quality that exceeded our expectations. I especially appreciated how attentive and kind the team was throughout our visit. This experience made our trip extra special, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone visiting the area. Thank you once again for every things.!!

Very comfortable and friendly place to stay. The staff were extremely helpful to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Kalum from the front office guided us through what was good to do and see to how to sort a massage. Some of the amenities needed some slight repairs but this didn’t impact our stay.

We arrived very early (1am) on a Friday morning and were welcomed by friendly staff and a drink. After a quick and efficient check in, we were taken to our large clean and tidy room. Breakfast had a range of good foods and the made to order omelette was excellent as were the waffles. Kalum, a senior member of the Reception team, went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay. He organised a surprise birthday cake to be delivered to the room and personally made an appointment for us at the Serene Wellness Spa where the massage was magnificent. He is friendly and personable and follows through to make sure things happen as they should. All staff are excellent and hospitable. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Regenta Arie Lagoon hotel.
