First time here but will return. We have been to other resorts in Negril. The Caves are one of a kind. It's like you're the only one they have to care for. Meals are Farm Fresh cooked just for you. The views of the Caribbean are unmatched. If you want beach, crowds and frozen mass produced food then don't come here. If you want romance, togetherness and a place where you can just chill then come on.

This stay was great. I would definitely come back and recommend it to family/friends. Now, if you are one of those people who are high demand, constantly in need of attention or/and to be entertained, and want pristine/new/modern accommodations - this isn’t the place for you. But, if you are open to new experiences, ready to relax, and looking to chill; then this is the place for you. The views and service were top-tier. Everyone was attentive and ready to address your needs every step of the way. The food was excellent. They had diversity throughout the stay. Most meals were 4 courses, and not one of them was disappointing. They take the food restrictions when you book, and they followed them the whole trip without my having to re-iterate my needs. One thing I noted, was they have scheduled meal times (morning, noon, night), but if that’s not how you live, you can walk up at different times and ask what they have to eat. The airport transfer was available very soon after I walked out of the airport and they planed the return to leave 4-hours before my flight was scheduled (~<2-hour drive to MBJ). You do have to really look for them though, the sign is rather small and not in an easily visible location. The main recommendation that I would share with a friend/family member would be: try a different room, other than One Drop. I was in One Drop, as it was just me, however, this cottage was more like a dungeon than a tropical getaway. Granted, most people are not in their cabins a lot. But if you prefer to stay in and read, take breaks from the sun, etc. then One Drop will not be the most comfortable. There’s only one small window (with no glass or screen & no bug net over the bed) to see outside/let light in. When asked, the staff member who walked me around and oriented me to the resort/room had said there was no way to open the shutters, but I did figure out how to open them eventually. That did help slightly with letting light in. Unfortunately, it was overwhelmingly dark inside without great views. There was only the bed and a built in couch (that faced in - towards the bed) for seating, with no table at all. It was very uncomfortable to try to eat, read, or rest in the room. There was not a desk to work/read nor any convenient places to hang wet clothes (without leaving them outside in the shower). I would definitely not recommend this cottage if you have two people as it felt cramped with one person. Some of the websites/reviews say it has 10 acres; however, there really wasn’t that much space to walk/adventure. Maybe that was a higher priced option than what my price point ($2254 USD/4 nights stay) got me. They didn’t have options to schedule history, adventure, or culture tours through the hotel. That is something you might plan ahead of time through an independent company. However, the life guard and cave-jumping teacher made the stay very entertaining with snorkeling and kayaking available whenever you wanted to go. I read a

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights for our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. The staff here was OUTSTANDING and we loved every person we met. The food was also outstanding, like a five star meal every time we ate. I would come back here for the food alone. My husband loved jumping off the cliffs and I was obsessed with snorkeling, so cool you could snorkel right off of their cliffs! We loved lounging, eating, and having the most relaxing, dreamy time. Our private cave dinner was so cool! We stayed in the One Drop room and liked the room itself, though it smelled slightly of mildew. My only complaint about our entire stay was that the bathroom, especially the outdoor shower, could use a little updating especially for the price paid. I wish that on their website they would show you every room they offer since they are all unique. It's definitely my own fault for assuming our room would also have an indoor shower, but we were fine with just having the outdoor one (though again, it could use an update). Also a tiiiiny thing, but the snacks provided in between meals could have been better. My husband has a severe nut allergy and almost all of the snacks had nuts. However, I believe if we would have asked, they would have made/ gotten us something else. The meal time food was so good and plentiful though that we never really needed snacks! I would still absolutely rate this 5 stars, we loved it so much and want to come back! Check out my tiktok for a video of our stay here @ms_pfeif_artroom

This was our second visit to The Caves, but it definitely won't be our last. Love floating in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean, watching sunsets from the pool, snorkeling, kayaking, jumping off the cliff. Fantastic service throughout our stay from the entire staff. They were so welcoming. Stacey, Floyd, Earl, Zoom, Ammar and others. I can't emphasize enough how great the food is, especially the fresh fruit and fresh fish. Also loved that there is a traditional Jamaican option with every meal. Can't wait to return!

Sad thing about the caves in Negil, you have to leave one day... - We really enjoyed The Caves very much. Outstanding location on the rocks, fantastic swimming, superb food and drinks and the most charming staff who cared about us all the time. Loved it! Nice cabanes with a great view. Bathrooms could be a bit more modern, but all you need is there. Hope to be back there soon.

This was our second visit to The Caves and was amazing! The things that stand out are: The staff by far, especially Floyd, Stacy, Zoom and Earl! The food is amazing! If you want somewhere to relax, swim and enjoy great staff and food this is the place! My only suggestion is to turn the heat down on the hot tub, it was too hot for everyone. We will be back!

Very impressed with this place. There is no beach but the resort is beautiful, the staff is amazing as is the food. It was an incredible 4 night stay and we had so much fun there. The rooms are a little run-down but the service and everything else is so amazing a few paint chips or leaky shower make no difference whatsoever. I can 100% recommend! My suggestion would be stay 4 or 5 nights here and the remaining nights at a decent Negril beach hotel. Each experience would be different but you will not regret staying at the Caves.

We are just leaving from our second visit to The Caves. If you are wanting to relax and decompress, this is the place. The service was exceptional. They truly made us feel like family. Every detail felt personalized. Last time we stayed in a garden room with an outdoor shower this year was an oceanfront. We think there are many things to enjoy about each room. We loved our anniversary dinner in the caves. It is definitely worth it if you are trying to decide. The staff is phenomenal! Stacy and crew brought smiles and incredible service to breakfast and lunch. Glen, Pernardo and crew brought memorable dinners at night. The chefs knocked it out of the park with fabulous meals. We appreciated each person on staff there and the effort they put into their jobs. We are already planning our next trip. Thank you for a fantastic experience.
