Bridge Backpackers
"I had a great stay at Bridge Backpackers in Nelson for a few days. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the location was excellent—within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the InterCity bus stop. A great choice for budget travellers, and I would happily stay here again."
Tides Hotel
"Great hotel with a nice restaurant. I really liked the electric blanket and heated bathroom. Nice touch. Good location."
YHA Nelson - Backpackers
"I was honestly disappointed at this hostel. The room smelled bad and the bed was uncomfortable, not enough many showers and toilets, shower pressure was bad and you could hear everything through the walls. Also it was cold in the room (there was a heater but it was very old and smelled like burned). Also definitely not the most social hostel. During my stay there was some sort of school groups taking over the common kitchen areas for their meetings and meals even though we are all paying to use any kitchen we want. Wifi was a joke. Only good thing was the good location in the center."
Delorenzo Studio Apartments
"Checked in and it was amazing to see everything we needed in the room. The bed was heavenly, breakfast made me happy and her, even happier ☀️ Tried to rebook, but they were booked out completely so stayed at their sister Hotel, "Tides". Can't wait to stay again x Em"

ASURE Fountain Resort Motel
"We have stayed several times at Asure Fountain Resort Motel, so always head there when in Nelson. The owner Cobber is very helpful & has the place spotless. Lovely rooms, good layout, close to beach & not far from downtown, plus Riccarton shops. Plenty of activities in close proximity, for everyone. Would thoroughly recommend."
Balmoral Motel
"Arrived late at night, the kind landlady patiently waited and guided warmly, the room was very clean, the kitchen utensils, tableware, coffee pots and other arrangements were well arranged, the facilities were all available, the bathroom was spacious and bright, and the five-star praise!"
Arrow Motel Apartments
"We personally didn’t like it that much. It was clean which is imported of course but it was all really old and dark."

Tudor Lodge Motel
Palazzo Motor Lodge
"We were very impressed at how well appointed the room was. Great facilities. We had come to see a show at a theatre a 5 min walk from the Motor Lodge so the location was a dream. Staff were very friendly & accomodating. We will be back & highly recommend. The price was brilliant too."
Quest Nelson
"Great place to stay in downtown. Friendly staff, parking on site for 15 NZD/day. Studio equipped with anything you need for cooking. Suggested."
Admirals Motor Inn
"Easy to travel, clean and hygienic,"
Amber Court Motel Nelson
"Last stayed here in 2015 so quite a gap in time between then and our next stay, which was 3 nights in February. This motel is pet friendly which is why we chose it. There is a one off extra cleaning fee of $30 added to your stay, i.e. not a daily charge and this is fine. Always thought booking direct at any accommodation gave you the best price but on subsequent checking, this is not the case. We paid $225.00 per night, $675 for three nights. Looking at booking 3 nights there via a popular booking site gave me a price of $446 so it would seem direct bookers are subsidizing the discounts providers give to booking chains. Very disappointing especially as for $225.00 per night, I would expect a fully equipped kitchen, not a small space with a plug in hot plate."
