Sol Nessebar Palace Resort & Aquapark - All Inclusive

Hello, I chose this hotel for my summer vacation but it is a big disappointment. At first I was optimistic when I saw the big and bright room. The pillows are horrible, lumpy, without any shape. The bathroom is clean but the water does not drain in the shower. Although it is a 5 star all inclusive hotel, you have to pay for the spa (sauna, hammam or salt room, indoor pool). The drinks provided are of very poor quality (this applies to soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and coffee). The food is sometimes good but not very varied, there is a lot of variety in fruit. The cakes are of very poor quality. They have the same texture and seem to be the same synthetic cream but with different essences in it. The water park is interesting but does not seem to have very good safety measures, you can hit your head when sliding down the slide very easily, especially children. Everything related to children's entertainment is paid, except for the shows held by the animators. I would not return to this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel.

Staying at Nessebar Palace Hotel has been a relaxing and wonderful experience. Myself and life long friend, arrived early hours of the morning and was greeted warmly by night staff. We were given a food parcel each as a welcome, for arriving after the food facilities had shut down for the day. Only reception appeared to be open. We were escorted to our room by a night porter who took our luggage and referrenced the free WiFi. He left before we had chance to tip him, thank you to whoever you were. We spent the majority of the week using the sun loungers by the pool, relaxing, reading and eating. (My friend would like to praise the availability of Banana ice cream! ) The food was delicious, with a huge variety of choice. My friend who is particular regarding her food, found enough choice to suit her palate and praised the Vegetable Stew, the wide variety of fruit and the Blueberry Cake as her main favourite items. The waiting staff were attentive and polite, although at times there was a language barrier for some. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant experience immensely. We used the shop at various times and found the shop keeper, pleasant and informative. We used the on site Sea Taxi to travel to Old Town Nessebar for a sight seeing afternoon. The trip was very enjoyable, traveling across the bay and was one of the highlights of our week. ️ Our week away here was a wonderful, relaxing time and we would recommend to family and friends. Don't waste your money.... Not 5 star. So here we go, we turned up late from our flight to be given a food bag at reception with a rock hard bread bun and a bottle of water. Staff are very rude and ignorant. Food looks good but that's as far as I will go. If you want to be sober then this is holiday for you. There is loads of alcohol drinks, cocktail, one choice of beer and gin ect but it's all watered down. I'm still here writing this review and have noticed people buying bottles of booze from local shops says it all really. Room is absolutely disgusting. No kettle or water and empty fridges that don't work and it's not just my room it's my wife's to as we got big family and need 2 rooms. A travel lodge is better than this place. PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY when booking a holiday here. I will say one good thing, the beach is lovely and black sea warmer than pool.

The room was spacious and clean. The pool was fantastic, and the animators organized fun contests, morning workouts, and water slides. And there was so much more! A paradise for both children and adults.

The hotel's services were all incredible: slides were all Ok and safe,pool was great, so were the restaurants. I would most definetely come here again

Hi! I've been to "Sol Nessebar Palace" between August 05th - August 10th, 2025. I do not usually post reviews, but this time I'd liked to share our experience. The receptionist: she was extremely kind, she offered me un upgrade, I was really happy; :-))) The apartment: it was quite big, clean, the cleaning ladies came daily I guess, the view was marvelous from the 5th floor. The complex: is very big with a lot of trees, swimming pools, slides for all ages (with a lunch break) ; there are a lot of activities included and not included like karting, games, balls on the pool in the evening, massage, etc; There are 3 buildings, 2 of 4* and the main one, Sol of 5* which is situated in the middle, being a guest here you have access to all the 3 buildings facilities; The bar on the swimming pool has all the drinks, but not such good quality, anyway the stuff is very friendly, most of them are Egyptians; The food: there were a lot of kinds, tasty, you can definitely find something on your taste; The beach: the sunbeds are included, negative aspects: there is no bar on the beach and the water was full of algae, the next beach private, clean water and sunbeds for 30 lev; The entertainment team: awesome!!! Gabi and her colleague were amazing! My son was giving flowers to a lot of girls/ladies, they were saluting and hugging him each time they met, they paid a lot of attention to the guests, Gabi and a young girl colleague who was wearing glasses (I missed her name) were extremely nice, they are people oriented, they really like their job and do everything they can to make the guests have a wonderful time, hard worker from morning until evening, all the entertainment team was marvelous! So, I loved our staying, I am strict and my opinion is that the staying has been really comfortable and nice. Monica
