Hotels Near Golden Waterfall in New Taipei City

The B&B is in a great location, very close to Jiufen Old Street, and provides free pick-up service from the B&B to Jiufen Old Street. It is also very close to the Golden Waterfall and the Gold Museum, within 5-10 minutes by car, and free tickets to the Gold Museum are provided. Because the B&B is on the mountain, the scenery is very beautiful. The owner and the lady boss of the B&B are very enthusiastic, and the breakfast is good. The room is very clean and hygienic.

The proprietress took us to understand the facilities in the room very intimately. The whole room is really super cute and very European style, which will stir the girl's heart! The number of pings in the room is very large, the sea is outside the window, and the cat will be seen walking outside. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. The temperature and water volume of the water are also enough. There is no TV in the room. You can enjoy nine copies. The layout of the public space is also very warm. There are free tea bags and water and many books to see. The outdoor cats are also super loved ones and cute. Will come knocking on the door ～ It's really suitable for people who like small animals or want to experience nine copies! The only minor drawback is that the room may be made of wood floors, so someone walking around will hear it very clearly. People who sleep lightly like me can wear earplugs, which will be better. ～ There is a small road in the middle of the hotel to the parking lot that can go down. It will go to the main road. Then there will be a trail to the left. It can lead to the main road in front of the old street. The distance is about 12 minutes. There are street lights at night. You can save parking fees and exercise.💪

A boutique hotel with beautiful wooden decor and cosy rooms. First level is the breakfast area which becomes a busy coffee shop in the day. It's located inside the bustling Jiuphen Old Street but not too noisy. Quiet at night when the stores close at around 7pm. Served breakfast was tasty but the same every day. Friendly staff. An enjoyable 3 night stay. Recommended.

The room is very clean. It is considered very cheap. We booked for a little over 1,200 baht. I highly recommend this place. However, the check-in pin is not correct. You have to check in first. Then wait until 3 pm. You will be taken to the accommodation. The first picture is from the walking street. Turn left into the alley and you will see the check-in point.

I contacted the owner before checking in. The owner was very nice and friendly. If I got lost at the station, the owner would come out to greet me personally. I saw people's comments on the owner online that ”he treats you like a brother or sister”. I immediately decided to book this hotel based on this comment! The room is very clean and comfortable, and there is a public terrace with a mountain view (I like this very much). It is only a few minutes' walk to the old street. The hotel Xinyu Restaurant recommended by the owner has a discount if you report the name of the homestay, and the dishes are delicious! I am very satisfied with this stay👍

Hard to find : we found the hotel after a few time. The location on Google Maps and Apple Plan were not exactly the same + the place don’t look exactly the same as on internet. Service : we received a call bc the householder was having some personal issues (alright, that’s life). But we called the number, and it was difficult to reach someone + someone were in the hostel but no answer until the same person decided to scream something we didn’t understood. Cleaning : it was clean ! But a smell of humidity. Amenities : we were very happy, necessary things were available. BUT sleepers are not personal (maybe used by all the customers even if maybe cleaned), the breakfast is not homemade, it’s delivered (and it’s actually good !). We enjoyed the place, even if it’s pretty far by foot, and difficult because of the several stairs. Jiufen is actually on a mountain, but it can be difficult for people with disabilities. We were very happy, even we arrived pretty late, and the famous Old Street was closed when we finished to settle.

I used it with my family. As I was looking for a place to stay, a man came looking for me on a motorbike and met me. When they arrived at the room they were shown to, the child was excited. Jiufen Old Street is also just a short walk up the stairs next to the hotel. He also gave me detailed information on recommended shops, which was very helpful. They also kindly made reservations for restaurants in Taipei, making it a perfect trip. The breakfast was delicious, and both children ate it all. I definitely want to use it again next time. It was 100% Japanese, and the cost performance was high. Thank you for a good time.

Great location, very close to the sights of Jiufen. The room is spacious and has a nice atmosphere. Great view from the terrace. This room has a loft, so you can enjoy the night view (it's cool because it has air conditioning). You can eat the rice and desserts you bought at the store on the terrace. Breakfast is fruit and sandwiches. It was delicious and filling. The owner speaks Japanese. He was very kind and made a hand-drawn map of recommended places. Staying in Jiufen allows you to enjoy the quiet town after the day trippers have gone home. The lights are on until 10pm. I recommend this place to enjoy the mysterious Jiufen at night.

Host is nice and friendly. We arrived late and was raining, host was very accomodative as he waited at the door for us. The Airbnb was cosy and clean, room comes with good view. Noticed all rooms have different style and designs. Also comes with complimentary local hearty & healthy breakfast. The location is very near Jiufen old street, only take about 5-8mins walk by taking a shortcut staircase. We had a comfortable and good stay for 3D2N.

The view is beautiful, the room is clean, luckily the elementary school has free parking spaces during the New Year, otherwise there would be no parking spaces, it is very close to the old street, the housekeeper is very nice and polite, the lady boss responded quickly online, the free snack area downstairs is very popular with children, we ate it A lot, overall happy and happy, thank you.
