"Facilities: This is a very new guesthouse; almost everything is new. The bedding is also of high quality and very comfortable. It has a smart toilet and smart curtains, both voice-controlled. The decor is exquisite and stylish, appealing to young people. The lack of an elevator is a common drawback of guesthouses in Dong villages, so improvements could be made. There are slight elevation differences in the rooms, which older guests might need to be aware of. Also, there was a massive downpour the night before our stay, causing a slight leak in the top-floor room. Hopefully, the owner can fix these issues soon.
Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. Besides the usual toiletries, there were disposable towels and toilet seat covers. For a guesthouse in the village, it was rare to see so few mosquitoes.
Environment: It's actually visible from the main road of the Dong village, but because a neighbor refused to let us use the room, we had to take a detour. It's not far, about a five-minute walk from the village entrance. The guesthouse is tucked away in a small alley, with streams, bridges, and plants belonging to neighbors along the way. From the room, you can see terraced fields and the Dong village, offering a nice view.
Service: Although it was a last-minute booking, the owner called very quickly to confirm and even saved us a parking space. Upon arrival, she helped us transport our luggage to the guesthouse on a motorbike. Along the way, she reminded us how to use the stairs, the smart toilet, and the curtains. She also helped us load our luggage into the car after check-out."

The Lian-Yue Pavilion, hidden halfway up the mountain in the Zhaoxing Dong Village, offers not only a 180° panoramic view but also a private surprise – a dong-style courtyard on the rooftop, where you can “remove the roof tiles.” Walking on the gray tiles, beneath you are the staggered footbridges and the ornate eaves of the Gu Lou bell tower. Everywhere you look, you are surrounded by the beauty of the Dong Village’s cultural architecture.
"I highly recommend the guesthouse I stayed at in the Dong village. Located in the heart of the ancient village, it's not directly facing the commercial street, but it's very convenient for getting around. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, and the stay was very comfortable.
The hotel's concierge service was impeccable. From the moment I got off the high-speed train, I didn't have to worry about anything. They picked me up and dropped me off, and even brought my luggage to my room – incredibly attentive!
The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. All the facilities were brand new, and everything from the bedding to the disposable items was of five-star standard. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into it. I decided to stay an extra night after my initial check-in; the value for money was excellent, exceeding my expectations!
This trip coincided with the village's Grain Rain Festival, which was very lively. Both the accommodation and the trip itself were a happy and enjoyable experience!"

"The boss is a local person who is very enthusiastic. I saw two children upgraded the audio-visual parent-child room! The room is atmospheric, the facilities are brand new, and the whole house is smart! I have been picked up and dropped off many times in the scenic spot. This is the last stop of the ten-day Guizhou tour. The experience from check-in to check-out is very good. The service is superb. I am very satisfied with the end. The room space is very large, our group of three people stayed in the twin beds spacious and not crowded, the floor-to-ceiling glass windows directly facing the mountain forest village, the scenery is healing. , The house is equipped with a separate bathtub. "The hotel/guesthouse is located right at the entrance of the scenic area, not far from the visitor entrance, in a great location on the pedestrian street. It's quiet at night, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows and double-glazed soundproof glass, ensuring a good night's sleep. The curtains have two layers of protection, so it was still dark when I woke up – I overslept! The owner picked us up from the scenic area entrance by car, saving us the 20 RMB shuttle bus fee per person. From the entrance to check-in, everything was seamless and convenient. The room facilities were excellent 👍, fully smart, with powerful central air conditioning. The wardrobes were all custom-made, without the paint smell often found in many shops with wooden paneling. The cleanliness was excellent, and the bedding was just the right firmness. Considering the service, cleanliness, location, and facilities, it's very cost-effective for the price. Highly recommended. "My friends and I booked this hotel for our trip to Zhaoxing Dong Village. Since there were three of us, we opted for the family room, which had two very comfortable queen-sized beds. What we didn't expect was that it also had a home theater! The room was incredibly spacious, big enough for all three of us to jump around in. The hotel is located within the Dong village, making it very convenient for exploring, and it's not on the main street, so it's not noisy. Sleeping with the sound of the running stream at night was wonderful. They also offer a pick-up and drop-off service from the high-speed rail station, which was a thoughtful touch. On our first night, my friend wasn't feeling well, and the owners were incredibly helpful, giving her medicine and even taking her to see a doctor the next day. They kept checking in to see if she was feeling better! Overall, our stay here was very comfortable, highly recommended!"
