The boss and staff are very hospitable and the service is very intimate. Staying at the complimentary afternoon tea, breakfast tastes superb, and free high-speed rail transfer, no need to worry about travel. The location of the homestay is excellent, very close to the main street of Dongzhai, it is super convenient to visit the Drum Tower and see the scenery of Dongzhai. The environment is quiet and comfortable. Next time you come to Zhaoxing, you will definitely book this one. It is highly recommended!"

"Facilities: This is a very new guesthouse; almost everything is new. The bedding is also of high quality and very comfortable. It has a smart toilet and smart curtains, both voice-controlled. The decor is exquisite and stylish, appealing to young people. The lack of an elevator is a common drawback of guesthouses in Dong villages, so improvements could be made. There are slight elevation differences in the rooms, which older guests might need to be aware of. Also, there was a massive downpour the night before our stay, causing a slight leak in the top-floor room. Hopefully, the owner can fix these issues soon. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. Besides the usual toiletries, there were disposable towels and toilet seat covers. For a guesthouse in the village, it was rare to see so few mosquitoes. Environment: It's actually visible from the main road of the Dong village, but because a neighbor refused to let us use the room, we had to take a detour. It's not far, about a five-minute walk from the village entrance. The guesthouse is tucked away in a small alley, with streams, bridges, and plants belonging to neighbors along the way. From the room, you can see terraced fields and the Dong village, offering a nice view. Service: Although it was a last-minute booking, the owner called very quickly to confirm and even saved us a parking space. Upon arrival, she helped us transport our luggage to the guesthouse on a motorbike. Along the way, she reminded us how to use the stairs, the smart toilet, and the curtains. She also helped us load our luggage into the car after check-out."

"I'm a lazy person, so I usually don't spend time and effort writing reviews; I just casually give a five-star rating and call it a day. But this guesthouse is an exception! First, in terms of service, this is the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in. Before we even arrived at the Dong village, the owner proactively called to ask if we needed a pick-up. The staff picked us up and dropped us off at Congjiang Station and on our return trip. Then, because we missed the shuttle bus operating hours for a performance that evening, the owner didn't hesitate to ride her little scooter at breakneck speed to pick us up and take us back to the guesthouse on a rainy night. Every morning, the owner would prepare breakfast for us as soon as we came downstairs—it was delicious and clean, a perfect start to a good day! 😍 They also greeted us and chatted with us whenever we came in or out of the guesthouse; they were very friendly and humorous. Secondly, the room environment was exactly as pictured; I fell in love the moment I opened the door! A large floor-to-ceiling window offers a view of the distant terraced fields. The room is spotless, with a bathtub for soaking, and excellent natural light. All the room's amenities are highly functional and smart, and the air smells wonderful, ensuring a comfortable and restful sleep. "I highly recommend the guesthouse I stayed at in the Dong village. Located in the heart of the ancient village, it's not directly facing the commercial street, but it's very convenient for getting around. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, and the stay was very comfortable. The hotel's concierge service was impeccable. From the moment I got off the high-speed train, I didn't have to worry about anything. They picked me up and dropped me off, and even brought my luggage to my room – incredibly attentive! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. All the facilities were brand new, and everything from the bedding to the disposable items was of five-star standard. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into it. I decided to stay an extra night after my initial check-in; the value for money was excellent, exceeding my expectations! This trip coincided with the village's Grain Rain Festival, which was very lively. Both the accommodation and the trip itself were a happy and enjoyable experience!"

Compared with the Zhaoxing Dongzhai below, it feels that more original buildings are retained, and the atmosphere of life is more full and more rich. The night was quiet. This homestay was accidentally found. The boss and the proprietress are really good. They will pick up and drop off the station for free. They help us carry the boxes. It just happened to be the off-season for the trip. We upgraded the room for free. The room was very clean and brand new. Hygienic, I was afraid that we would not be full at night and sent us a full box of fruit. Also invited us to eat our own passion fruit and grasshopper really touched! ! The proprietress also borrowed my small fan electric car to go to a beautiful sunrise 🌅, indescribable beauty! ! Friendly reminder: riding a battery car in the morning is super comfortable, but you must pay attention to safety! On the day we left, the boss and the wife sent us to the station and took us to eat an early breakfast. We tasted the local handmade powder.
