New Hotels in Yogyakarta

"The room was clean and tidy, and the toiletries were complete. The hotel is located on a high floor, offering great views. They don't provide bottled water, but there are water dispensers on each floor's hallway. The shower water was clean and odorless, no need to change the showerhead at all. The biggest surprise was dining at the rooftop restaurant; the view was absolutely stunning, perfect for watching the sunset, and of course, the variety of dishes was impressive. The two of us ordered oxtail soup, a fillet steak, and Yogyakarta fried rice. Every dish was a hit, absolutely delicious. The best part was that with taxes and service charges, it only came to just over a hundred, such great value! This made us even more excited for breakfast. And it didn't disappoint; not only did they have regular Western options, but also many traditional Indonesian dishes, all very tasty! The hotel is right next to Yogyakarta Tugu train station, making it very convenient for arrivals and departures. Of course, if you're a light sleeper, this hotel might not be suitable as the soundproofing isn't great, and you can hear people talking in the hallway. But for travelers who've spent a day exploring, it's absolutely perfect. If I get the chance to visit Yogyakarta again, I'll definitely stay here. There are plenty of trishaws right outside the hotel, ready to take you around the local area, which is very convenient."

"Excellent! Both the location and room facilities were great. The charging outlets in the room are compatible with most international plugs, so no adapter is needed. The front desk service was also very good and friendly."

"Had to switch room, due to noisy kids running, jumping, screaming and crying, then you hear mom talking out loud and shouting, all the way till 12am, at 6:30am there awake and the whole story starts again… the second room was at the corner but the neighbor water pressure system seems to be installed right in between the wall on my bed, praying the whole night he can end up showering. It’s not the employees fault, the front desk lady. Camel did her best but overall the employees english was poor so it was hard to communicate. Plus, this is othe only hotel that doesn’t has a adaptor to borrow. The breakfast is decent and the waiter is always smiling and energetic. The location was okay with laundry, restaurants, local warungs nearby. Btw, having breakfast beside the management of the hotel helding their daily meeting was quite funny, when the meeting finishes the managers would greet you while cooking their own eggs at the station, hilarious experience."

"Room: Clean, tidy, and no musty or smoke odor. The only downside is that the bathroom is too small. Breakfast: Quite complete for a 4-star hotel, but the variety of food could be better. Parking: This is my main criticism. The car park isn't spacious enough compared to hotels of a similar class. Before this hotel officially opened, they really should have added at least two more parking levels. That way, for weddings or events, cars wouldn't overflow onto the street and cause traffic jams. Front office: If possible, they should add more front office staff. It's a shame that there's only one person working shifts from afternoon until evening; they must be exhausted. Otherwise, everything else is generally good."

"The breakfast is not good, they dont serve fried egg and only have omelette. They dont have much selection for beakfast. You better buy outside for your breakfast. The family room is also small. Usually i get bigger room for family room type. You can hear your next door guest sound clearly. The towels are so smell. I cannot stand with the smell of its towel. The parking lot is also limited"
