Had a lovely stay at this Premier Inn. Room was very clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful, thanks to Jane for answering all our queries!! Breakfast was lovely too. Would definitely stay here again. Great location tucked away but also by the retail park which was very convenient for us.

This hotel is not in Town Centre. It has cost me £9.50 on a taxi from the “town centre” Premium Inn to get here. It’s false advertisement. It’s Premier Inn South. So be careful before you book and think you’ll be in the centre. I will be asking my work to remove this hotel for sure.

Had a lovely stay here. Came to visit family over the Easter period. The hotel was great. All rooms were clean and had enough space for us to move about. Beds were nice and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and welcomeing. Very pleasant stay for us.

Stayed here recently and had a really positive experience with all the staff, room was spacious and well maintained. Excellent location too with easy access to town center. I will definitely be coming back very soon to enjoy a pint outside!

Great Premier Inn and Jane., the manager was so helpful and knowledgeable . Great food, clean room and also staff so helpful. Close to Retail Park and large Tesco. Bed was, as always, the most comfortable in all the hotels I stay in. Bar was well stocked and staff excellent. Breakfast as always was good value.

This is the second Premier Inn I have stayed at. Being on my own my trip for visiting family and friends. I felt very safe. My room was comfortable. I think my bed must be ready for replacement Room 114. Not quite as good as I expected. Breakfast was good, and the staff were all lovely. Unfortunately it wasn’t anywhere near the town centre. One thing I would like to say to Premier Inn is that the very large & heavy jugs filled with milk for tea, and the breakfast juices, were too heavy for me to lift. Being of senior age, I couldn’t lift them. There were small jugs by the tea water machine, but no milk in them, I think they were there for you to fill from the heavy milk jug. A very nice male guest kindly put some milk in my tea on one morning, otherwise I could only drink the coffee. I also couldn’t have any orange juice at breakfast again due to me not feeling confident of lifting the large heavy jug. The staff are very busy, or not always visible.

When traveling, accommodations play a crucial role in the overall experience. Unfortunately, my recent stay did not live up to the high standards I have come to expect from this particular hotel chain. Upon arrival, I faced immediate challenges with the check in process. The postcode provided in the confirmation was incorrect, leading me into Newbury town center instead of the hotel. After finally locating the hotel, I was further delayed by an empty reception area and a malfunctioning self service check in.When I brought the postcode issue to the attention of the staff, I was informed that it had been incorrect for over four years. Despite my suggestion to update it for future guests, I was met with indifference and was told it was not their problem an outside does all the IT systems. The condition of the room was disappointing. A noticeable and unpleasant smell greeted us as we entered. Additionally, there was only one towel provided for three guests, and the carpet was stained with dirty marks. These issues made for an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. Hoping for a meal, we approached the on site restaurant, which appeared half empty. However, we were informed that they were busy and that there would be over an hour's wait for service. With limited options, we decided to walk to a nearby shop to purchase some items instead of enjoying a meal at the hotel and also did not bother with breakfast we went to M&S nearby for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. Given these experiences, I made the decision to cancel my review my stays in Portsmouth and London and opted to book with a different hotel chain. This was a difficult decision, as I have always preferred this chain for business and overnight stays, but the poor experience left me with little choice. In summary, this stay was far below what I have experienced at other locations of this hotel chain. I hope that improvements can be made to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar issues.

As a disabled person staying in hotels is not always a pleasant experience; but I have to say this Premier Inn is absolutely fantastic! The accessible rooms are big, comfy & well equipped. The staff go out of their way to help you and nothing is too much trouble. I must give special mention to Michelle as she is absolutely brilliant. Helpful, kind, very knowledgeable and always has a friendly smile. Michelle fabulous and deserves the biggest hugs and lots of recognition.
