Located in the old town. There are many attractions around. However, there is a fee for checking in a few hours in advance.

Service was absolutely phenomenal - Sophie was in her first week and I could not have been seen to any better. The standard of the first room I was given was far below standard but in no time she had the situation in and and resolved very quickly. Second to none I would have her working with me in a heartbeat so hold on to her as she is brilliant and deserves a well done as this would have been marked 0.

perfect location close to the Tyne and only a short walk to the town centre . the hotel had a lot of stag parties in so they put us in a lower ground floor room which was quiet and comfortable which meant we felt cared for

Stayed with my friends from Leicester the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for my friends and myself the bar was well stocked and we tried the local brew of Newcastle brown ale. We had pizza made by Demy which was lovely and hot and was more than enough for us before we went to sleep.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stayed in a family room at Travelodge Newcastle Central from April 6–11, 2025, and had a great experience. The hotel is in a prime location—just a short walk to the Quayside, with easy access to sights like the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, the Castle Keep, and the scenic Millennium Bridge. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff—especially Demi, Malcolm, Anna, Heather, and Sophie—were incredibly welcoming and helpful. For dining, the area offers a variety of options. Aneesa's Buffet Restaurant is just steps away, offering a wide range of dishes in a buffet setting. For a unique experience, Rio Brazilian Steakhouse provides an all-you-can-eat meat selection served tableside. If you're in the mood for Italian, Portofino Restaurant offers classic dishes in a charming atmosphere. For those craving a fusion of African and Caribbean flavors, Manjaros is a great choice. It’s a great, budget-friendly base for exploring Newcastle. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
