Stayed here on good Friday we were attending a birthday party and this was near the location so was ideal. It's about a 20min walk from the train station which we did but you can always get an uber. It close to the quayside so plenty of bars and restaurants. Our room was really good we had the twin with double bed and sofa bed ideal for us. Room was very clean as was the bathroom , shower was very good. We had breakfast the next morning I always love a premier inn breakfast. Would definitely use this again we had a river facing room. I also liked that we had a window that you could open so far much better for sleeping. My only downside would be the toilets downstairs off reception could do with a bit more attention. Maybe update them with repainting etc.

Last minute requirement of a room for the night. Have stayed a few times previously. Never once have I been disappointed. Place is warm & clean, plenty of onsite extras if needed. Staff are a great asset for this location, nothing is ever too much trouble. Please be patient with them. They are a small team & have a large number of people to help.

Despite the odd layout of the hotel (reception on the first floor and a lack of better signage) the hotel was clean, staff were all very polite and helpful and the breakfast was good. Good location to get into the centre and along the river. Good amount of car park spaces, covered and open air.

nice and clean with comfy bed so thats the main bit. breakfast was great but very slow due to staffing issues. Wifi was a non starter. pretty shocking in 2025, could barely load a page on a browser parking was ok but was £9 a night and the area was v quiet so seemed pricey

My partner and I stayed for the second time this year; surely return custom implies a lot. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The Reception staff are the masters of multitasking as they serve behind the bar in the evenings. The only issue my partner and I would flag, is there no clarity as to how you get your room serviced by housekeeping, we have asked both time but the message doesn't appear to get through to housekeeping. This stay we asked for additional towels (2) which were in our room when we returned, but the bed which we'd like to have remade, was as we'd left it in the morning.

First time here at this Premier Inn (Millennium Bridge) first impression was nice place easy to find and parking was fine no problems plenty parking spaces (Friday afternoon 3pm arrived). When entering reception the receptionists were very friendly and polite and helpful. The room we were in was room 11 on same floor as reception which was very clean and tidy and overlooking the Quay Side. Didn’t find no problems with sleeping and no noise from the other people staying here (coming back from the night out) Had breakfast what was nice also on the night had dinner which again was nice only downfall was didn’t have any Gammon but instead had Sirloin streak which was nice and ample portions too. The bar had plenty selection shame didn’t have any Newcastle Brown (lol) But overall would recommend this Premier Inn and would be back in near future.

Great Hotel. Excellent Breakfast. Comfy Bed. Twin room. Great Service with staff very helpful and amenable. Good location close to the quayside next to Ouseburn bars and trendy area. Only 15 minute walk from the station. It wasn't full of stags and hens so nice and quiet. All Good

The staff at this Premier Inn were absolutely wonderful—I really feel for them having to work in such poor conditions. Unfortunately, this was the worst Premier Inn I’ve ever stayed in. While the staff kept it as clean as possible, the hotel itself is in a terrible state. The radiator was falling off the wall, the bath was covered in mould, the windows were filthy, the bathroom floor was unstable, and the mixer shower didn’t work properly. On top of that, the plaster on the walls was falling off. There were even more issues beyond this! It’s clear the hotel is in desperate need of maintenance and refurbishment. Such a shame, as the staff
