Hotel is a convenient walk from the nearest bus stop, and it provides a comfortable feeling within the hotels itself. The buffet was delicious, and they feature daily changes on the rice to give an insight on the type of rice you can get from which part of their prefecture.
Hotel service was great, and the comfortable night gown was a perfect touch as you wear it to call it a day when you sleep.
Only thing is that there was no laudry facility in the hotel, but it was, in general a great experience.

We recently stayed at Hotel Okura in Niigata and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the Shinano River, providing stunning views, especially during sunset. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the JR Niigata Train Station and Niigata Airport, making it a great base for exploring the area.

An excellent stay. The staff were so polite (even more so than I was expecting), and the room was spotless.
It’s a little far from the station, but easily accessible by bus. You can’t miss it as you’re crossing Bandai Bridge.

The room was clean and the towels were fluffy, which was nice. It's a little far from the station, but the cherry blossoms along the river and the tulips on Bandai Bridge were beautiful and it was a great place to take a walk. The hotel staff were very kind and I had a comfortable stay. I was able to make some fun memories. Thank you very much.

As expected of Okura, it will never disappoint you. The service, environment and food are of course impeccable, and the location is also super good, right next to the Bandai Bridge and the Shin-no-Kawa River. It is not far from Niigata Station.
