Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Kinugawa Gyoen

It costs 500 yen to take a taxi from the station and it takes 12 minutes to walk. It is a little old, but the price/performance ratio is high. The dinner and breakfast are quite rich. The attitude of the front desk is very friendly. 90% of the people staying here are elderly.

The hotel room is a standard Japanese hot spring hotel, but the room is indeed very old. Those who like new hotels should be careful, because I personally like the atmosphere of old Japanese hotels. Everything else is good. The breakfast and dinner are especially good. There is seafood Dongfan for breakfast, and I ate a lot. The open-air hot spring is also great, and I soaked once in the morning and once in the evening. I think it is good.

The rooms are spacious, the food is delicious, and the open-air bath is amazing.

Facilities: The English accent at the hotel front desk 💁🏻♀️ is too Japanese, and some of it is hard to understand. Dinner and breakfast require reservations and time. Bathrobes need to be picked up at the front desk. The hotel has two hot springs, one indoor and two outdoor, on the first floor and the basement. Dinner is buffet style on the 4th floor. Local Japanese people also come to this hotel for vacation, so there are a lot of people. Be sure to eat in advance. Hygiene: The hygienic conditions are very good. They are all tatami rooms. The sliding doors in the rooms seem to remind people of the sliding doors that Doraemon lives in. Environment: The famous Kinu River steps are not far from the hotel. You can see the whole picture from a distance. You can raft around the hotel, but it is not recommended. It is too gentle and not wet at all. It is just a canoe, not like rafting, not exciting, and the whole process is explained in Japanese. I can't understand it. It is exposed to the sun. There are 20 people in a flat boat.

There was a bus that went from the station to the hotel, which made it convenient to go there and back. The woman at the reception was very nice, and wrote down the directions to Toshogu Shrine on a note for me, and I was able to go for a smoothie. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, the menu was cute and varied, and there were many drinks, so I enjoyed eating with my friends. There was a wide variety of yukatas to choose from, in various sizes and patterns, and the souvenir shop had a limited time discount ^_^ If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay here again.
