Come to Yunnan to play just in time for the Yi Torch Festival. We also came to Ningyu to stay for the night to feel the excitement of the Yi Torch Festival. I chose this hotel to walk a few minutes from the venue Wange Square. The facilities are old but the location is good. The door is very spacious. Parking is convenient. Through casual chat, I learned that the owner and his wife rented this small hotel with only 8 rooms to run the hotel in order for their children to go to school. They did not do much publicity and relied entirely on ”real ingredients” and referrals from repeat customers.
The location is right at the pedestrian street in the city center, less than 50 meters from the square, and it is very convenient in all aspects; the room is super large, and the decoration is simple but distinctive; after all, it is a pity that there is no yard, but the store will take you to park not far next door .
The local Naxi barbecue introduced by the proprietress is very delicious and only costs 60 yuan for a large table. Calculating this, it only costs 150 yuan including food and accommodation. The level of consumption makes me feel like I have traveled back to 20 years ago!

GGuest UserThe perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and authentic Mosuo architecture made this stay unforgettable. After a long day of travel, the kind and attentive service was exactly what we needed. Though we arrived after dark, we woke up to a breathtaking balcony view that left us in awe. The delicious breakfast and insightful tour of the traditionally preserved Mosuo culture, including the “Grandmother” room, were highlights. Having visited villages in the area, I can confidently say the preservation here feels authentic and respectful. As a tour operator for foreign travelers, I especially appreciated the locally-owned aspect and the warm hospitality. Our family was well cared for, and this is exactly the type of accommodation I look for in my work. Highly recommended!

TTamLawrenceAs part of our 9-day self-drive trip in Yunnan, me and my wife visited the Lake Lu Gu last week and stayed two nights at the Torre De Marfil Hotel. All hardwares and softwares of the hotel were up to our entire satisfaction. Every little detail of the hotel facilities, whether in the rooms or in the public areas, has been carefully designed and properly maintained. The full and unblocked lakeview, which can be seen directly through the hotel room window, was magnificent and unforgettable. As we were told, most of the hotel personnel are native Mosuo people. We were deeply impressed by the enthusiasm shown by all of them, especially Xiao Zhang at the Reception Desk, in their works. Without any exception, they responded proactively and efficiently to all our requests. They voluntarily helped us bring our heavy luggages to and from the carpark while explaining to us the unusual marriage traditions followed by the Mosuo Tribe. Breakfasts were provided in individual sets instead of buffets. We were particularly impressed by their presentations, tastes and varieties, which were so much better than what we had in those bigger hotels we had stayed in Dali and Lijiang. Free dessert soups were served and brought to the rooms every evening, which to us were a big surprise! We 100% enjoyed our stay in Torre De Marfil and would definitely recommend it to anyone who happens to be visiting Lu Gu.

The moment we walked in to the hotel lobby, we were greeted by the amazing view of the lake. The lobby was also very pretty.
The hotel gives a welcome high tea set upon arrival. There's also a free photoshoot with professional photographers, so bring pretty clothes. They give 5 free original photos and you can add on for edited ones.
Every staff always answer our questions sincerely and go the extra mile for every small request we make. Special shout-out to our butler，二车， who came over specially to check in on us when he heard from housekeeping that we are checking out earlier due to change in our plans and also made arrangements to serve our breakfast earlier as we have an early itinerary.
The rooms are nice, and we face the lake directly. The room also gave eye masks, face masks and they even have a hair straightener in the room. Toilet comes w bidet as well.

The decoration is also very designed, and many wooden furniture are eye-catching. I really enjoy my life when I stay in this hotel. Feel. The boss and the aunt were also very enthusiastic. Because I had to get up early to watch the morning mist, the aunt even got up more than an hour early to make breakfast for me. I was really touched. Grace, the hotel’s little housekeeper, was also very enthusiastic and would take the initiative to raise her paws and ask for a touch. They also greeted guests warmly when they left. GGuest UserAnother absolute gem in Yunnan. The price is relatively affordable and all you get for it is totally worth it. The views outward the hotel lobby is stunning and the decor of the interior is very cozy and fitting. You have a full view of the lake from the front unobstructed.
Rooms have everything basic and more. Relatively spacious and decorated very extensively, cozy and comfortable setting and bed. Nice setup in the bathroom area and shower is spacious. Toilet with automated bidet is also nice. For those who like bathing there is a bath with mountainside views and bath salts/supplies given.
The AI and automated curtains add a nice touch, though this one is more primitive than xiaodu.
Staff were very kind and helpful，offered to drop me off at the bus stop and served dessert at night.

The front desk and the housekeeper helped to take the luggage upstairs, and the afternoon tea was very good. The breakfast variety was good, with meat, vegetables, rice noodles, etc. There is a lake right outside the hotel, and you can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening.

GGuest UserThe boss is very nice. Because my girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked the boss to help me decorate the room. But when I actually arrived at the store, I found out that the boss took the initiative to upgrade my room for me in order to make the hotel more atmospheric.
Facilities: The room facilities are relatively new and smart, and are basically sound controlled. What makes me happy is that the electricity card and room card are separated, which is very convenient to use.
Environment: The balcony has a very good view, with a panoramic view of the lake. You can watch the sunrise in the morning, and the film quality is great.
Afternoon tea for two persons: As of 7pm, we arrived late and did not experience it.

GGuest UserThis room is really worth the money. I came to Lugu Lake for a slow tour with my girlfriend. I looked at two or three hotels in advance, but I was not satisfied with any of them when I saw them in person. Either the prices were too high or the hygiene was not good. I found this one by accident when I passed by, and I fell in love with it the moment I opened the door. It's great. The lake view room is also very clean and hygienic. I watched the stars at night and took pictures of the beautiful sunrise the next day. The boss and the auntie in the store are very friendly and the facilities are very good. They also helped us with the luggage. There is free parking in the backyard, and many sets of clothes for taking big pictures for free. I have recommended it to my friends. I will stay in this hotel next time I come to Lugu Lake!

RRosie JennerThis is a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Trip were able to send me the Wechat contact for the hotel so they helped me to arrive, although from the bus stop I could have booked transport through AMAP/didi too.
The service was excellent and when there was a problem with the room I had booked the staff were super helpful and moved me quickly to an upgraded room. The breakfast is nice and there is a coffee machine.
This was the best hotel from my whole trip in Yunnan. The finishing touches and service were far beyond my expectations especially considering the remote location.
The village of Lige is small and there is not much to 'do' unless you have your own transport. Which makes this a great hotel to stop at on your trip for some luxury relaxation.
