I chose Indigo at first sight among many hotels in Lugu Lake. The price and photos are exaggerated, but IHG's brand is absolutely safe. The housekeeper Yara communicated online at any time from check-in to check-out. She was thoughtful and meticulous. I felt friendly even though I had never met her. The housekeeper arranged the hotel car reservation and the itinerary very well. It was very hard to drive from Xichang to the hotel. The hotel's shuttle bus just made up for the trouble of driving tired. Go out for a day and then return to the hotel to have dinner at Daluoshui. It was very suitable. The housekeeper Yara also confirmed the pick-up time with me in advance, which was meticulous. The bedding in the room is very comfortable. Although the brand used in the room is not specifically promoted on the booking website, you can feel that all the items are carefully selected. The customized toiletries are also superb, and even small items such as slippers are very comfortable; the hotel's breakfast is also great, with Yunnan specialty rice noodles, Cantonese side dishes, and fresh fruits; the feeling of home is reflected in all aspects. The hotel's general manager, Richine Yang, waits for guests at the door of the restaurant every morning, chatting like a friend to introduce the Indigo series, and you can feel his love for Lugu Lake Indigo. Every employee of the hotel works with full enthusiasm. This stay has made me more determined to choose Indigo as my first choice for future travel accommodations, and I hope that every Indigo will get better and better~

Though we arrived after dark, we woke up to a breathtaking balcony view that left us in awe. The delicious breakfast and insightful tour of the traditionally preserved Mosuo culture, including the “Grandmother” room, were highlights. Having visited villages in the area, I can confidently say the preservation here feels authentic and respectful. As a tour operator for foreign travelers, I especially appreciated the locally-owned aspect and the warm hospitality. Our family was well cared for, and this is exactly the type of accommodation I look for in my work. Highly recommended!

We were assigned a dedicated butler, 直玛, who ensured that someone was waiting for us upon our arrival, as the hotel is located approximately 50 meters from the main road. Her thoughtful gestures and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable.
Although we only stayed for one night, 直玛 and her team made us feel completely at home. They were aware of our early morning departure and were already prepared and standing by to assist us with our luggage. Their professionalism and warmth were truly commendable.
Additionally, the breakfast experience was exceptional. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, and the staff went above and beyond by offering us an additional bowl of noodles, which was a delightful touch.
Overall, this hotel combines stunning views with impeccable service, making it a perfect choice for anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay in Lugu Lake. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

TTamLawrenceAs part of our 9-day self-drive trip in Yunnan, me and my wife visited the Lake Lu Gu last week and stayed two nights at the Torre De Marfil Hotel. All hardwares and softwares of the hotel were up to our entire satisfaction. Every little detail of the hotel facilities, whether in the rooms or in the public areas, has been carefully designed and properly maintained. The full and unblocked lakeview, which can be seen directly through the hotel room window, was magnificent and unforgettable. As we were told, most of the hotel personnel are native Mosuo people. We were deeply impressed by the enthusiasm shown by all of them, especially Xiao Zhang at the Reception Desk, in their works. Without any exception, they responded proactively and efficiently to all our requests. They voluntarily helped us bring our heavy luggages to and from the carpark while explaining to us the unusual marriage traditions followed by the Mosuo Tribe. Breakfasts were provided in individual sets instead of buffets. We were particularly impressed by their presentations, tastes and varieties, which were so much better than what we had in those bigger hotels we had stayed in Dali and Lijiang. Free dessert soups were served and brought to the rooms every evening, which to us were a big surprise! We 100% enjoyed our stay in Torre De Marfil and would definitely recommend it to anyone who happens to be visiting Lu Gu.

The decoration is also very designed, and many wooden furniture are eye-catching. I really enjoy my life when I stay in this hotel. Feel. The boss and the aunt were also very enthusiastic. Because I had to get up early to watch the morning mist, the aunt even got up more than an hour early to make breakfast for me. I was really touched. Grace, the hotel’s little housekeeper, was also very enthusiastic and would take the initiative to raise her paws and ask for a touch. They also greeted guests warmly when they left. It was really a very comfortable and happy stay!

GGuest UserAnother absolute gem in Yunnan. The price is relatively affordable and all you get for it is totally worth it. The views outward the hotel lobby is stunning and the decor of the interior is very cozy and fitting. You have a full view of the lake from the front unobstructed.
Rooms have everything basic and more. Relatively spacious and decorated very extensively, cozy and comfortable setting and bed. Nice setup in the bathroom area and shower is spacious. Toilet with automated bidet is also nice. For those who like bathing there is a bath with mountainside views and bath salts/supplies given.
The AI and automated curtains add a nice touch, though this one is more primitive than xiaodu.
Staff were very kind and helpful，offered to drop me off at the bus stop and served dessert at night.

GGuest UserIt's super good. I just came to Lugu Lake from Erhai Lake. I feel that the scenery of Lugu Lake is more beautiful than Erhai Lake, the water is clearer, and it is less commercialized. The hotel is right by Lugu Lake. It's very comfortable to stay. The butler's service attitude is particularly good. It's a pity that the subsequent itinerary has been booked, otherwise I would like to stay one more day.

GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutely amazing. The environment is exactly the same as in the main picture. Afternoon tea and breakfast are both delicious. The service lady Xiao Hei is super cute and considerate. She took the initiative to help us wash and dry clothes. The coffee she made was also super delicious. The brother who picked us up was very enthusiastic. Although he was not as tall as my husband (don't be angry if the brother sees), he was still very enthusiastic to help us carry our luggage. He was very strong. Lugu Lake is a perfect attraction for two days and one night. The hotel can watch the sunrise, which really saves us a lot of energy. After watching it, we went back to take a nap. The free pick-up within 5 kilometers of the hotel is also super considerate!

GGuest UserThe boss is very nice. Because my girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked the boss to help me decorate the room. But when I actually arrived at the store, I found out that the boss took the initiative to upgrade my room for me in order to make the hotel more atmospheric.
Facilities: The room facilities are relatively new and smart, and are basically sound controlled. What makes me happy is that the electricity card and room card are separated, which is very convenient to use.
Environment: The balcony has a very good view, with a panoramic view of the lake. You can watch the sunrise in the morning, and the film quality is great.
Afternoon tea for two persons: As of 7pm, we arrived late and did not experience it.

GGuest UserIn the whole Daluoshui Village, it is in the middle. The lake view of the room is very good, and the two trees at the door are in full bloom this season.
The whole B&B feels very warm and healing, with many flowers in front and behind. The proprietress is very nice.
Light meals are also provided here, haha, you can eat light meals here if you are tired of eating firewood chicken.
Rent clothes for taking pictures: the clothes are very clean, and I saw the proprietress washing and tidying them up and hanging them up again, which is very hygienic overall.
There is also a book corner in the hall, which I like very much. It is the most pleasant thing to read books while blowing the wind by the lake.
In short, I highly recommend this B&B! The overall experience is very good.

RRosie JennerThis is a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Trip were able to send me the Wechat contact for the hotel so they helped me to arrive, although from the bus stop I could have booked transport through AMAP/didi too.
The service was excellent and when there was a problem with the room I had booked the staff were super helpful and moved me quickly to an upgraded room. The breakfast is nice and there is a coffee machine.
This was the best hotel from my whole trip in Yunnan. The finishing touches and service were far beyond my expectations especially considering the remote location.
The village of Lige is small and there is not much to 'do' unless you have your own transport. Which makes this a great hotel to stop at on your trip for some luxury relaxation.
