Premier Inn Nottingham City Centre (Goldsmith Street) hotel

Great location, close to the town centre and a lovely breakfast. The main reasons for giving 3 out of 5 is that I was charged £27 in car park charges just for dropping my bags off and checking in. I spent just 23 minutes in the car park! Although we weee advised in advance the air-con was not working we couldn’t leave the windows open at night due to noise from the surrounding streets. The car park charge is the main factor that will stop me staying here again as there is no where to drop any of your luggage

Brilliant Stay. Can’t fault the staff and the rooms. Good Location close to shops and corner house. Was a tasty hot breakfast could not ask for anything more. I would recommend it to anyone. Ask for a Sheet instead of a duvet when hot makes a difference as no air con

The room was fairly clean. Breakfast was okay. The hotel is base in the city centre next to the tramline , access to the hotel is very limited.Parking is at the back of the hotel is very limited and very expensive , you pay £27.00 for 24 hours parking,if you stay for 20 minutes and then decide you want to leave you would still have pay 27 pounds,staying at this hotel for a few days could cost you an absolute fortune in parking.

Great hotel clean great friendly staff best shower in any hotel I have stopped in great choice of food in onsite restaurant all served hot short five minute walk into town for bars and restaurants this was our third visit to this hotel we come every for the horse racing in Nottingham

We went to a conference at Trent Vineyard and some of us stayed at this Premier Inn. One of the staff called Ray was very helpful when we called beforehand. Booking in on arrival was OK, although the reception staff also seemed to double up as waiters and waitresses. Ray also helped bring our bags downstairs when both lifts were out of order on our final morning. Food was cooked well for evening meals and breakfasts. There was no decaf tea in the rooms, or at breakfast. I find this a regular problem in Premier Inns! Car parking was very expensive at £22 a day unless you have a blue badge and park on neighbouring pay and display streets. Do ask for a bath mat for the bath as the floor is slippery in the bath and there do not appear to be any rooms with walk-in showers. There was some intrusive noise from the car park all night; maybe an extractor from the kitchens? The bed was not as comfortable as usual in a Premier Inn. The rooms and décor are a bit tired, but it was fine for our stay.

I stayed as I was going to a convention just round the corner for the long weekend. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming all weekend and nothing was too much for them. Room was comfy and clean and a good size considering I was by myself and breakfast was really good. The two times I ordered poached eggs were done to perfection! Will happily return :)
