Travelodge Nottingham Riverside Hotel

We stayed for 2 nights and overall was very clean with nice comfortable beds. Was also pet friendly which is what we needed. Very quiet inside the hotel which ensured a good night's sleep.

Prince has done fantastic job he was really polite and he was giving really customer service overall I had good experience

Soap dispenser was empty. Hot water was off with no prior warning or reimbursement so shower was cold water only. Hotel is dilapidated and feels like a prison. Room smelt damp and musty. You can hear everything through the thin walls and windows. No where to plug anything in near the bed - and a fan is provided - making it useless.

Easy access and good parking Hotel clean overall though fixtures and fittings are ready for an upgrade. Bed comfy and fairly quiet - we slept well, mild noise from industrial estate that did not bother us. Bonus fan in room which was needed, and restaurant right next door, so sorted for all meals including breakfast. We would stay again it met our one night stay.

If you’re here for business and you need to sleep I would avoid this hotel. My personal experience was a young family running up and down the hallway at 10pm. Their parents couldn’t care less and they contributed to the noise. This was on the 5th of August 2025, first floor. I went to see if the staff could help out and ask them to keep the noise down but they were nowhere to be seen. The hotel in general is what you would normally expect reasonable bed, showers etc for what you pay for. I appreciate it’s a budget hotel but I’d have rather slept in my car.

This was an average Travelodge with one particular maintenance issue - faulty guttering above the room resulting in cascading water from it landing noisily on vehicles below very early in the morning and waking me up.
