My husband and I needed a place to stay whilst our bathroom was undergoing remedial works so booked at Riverside as it's local and a good price. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and was greeted by Akash on reception who was very polite, friendly and efficient. Check in was extremely easy and was given information regarding how to contact the reception team if needed. Being a wheelchair user I had requested a ground floor room over the phone the day before and was allocated room 7. This isn't an adapted room but I knew this at the time of booking. Adapted rooms have a bath with a bench over but I prefer a shower which room 7 has. The room isn't huge but plenty big enough for 2 people with space for the wheelchair. We found the room and bathroom to be very clean with plenty of hot water and clean towels. If you want to watch television then there's a large flat screen in the room. Walking along the corridors you can hear people in their rooms but once inside your room the noise doesn't travel. On departure Sue was lovely asking if we'd had a good night's sleep. The answer was yes, the bed was lovely and comfortable with soft pillows (extras in the wardrobe if needed). We didn't have the breakfast box but the Riverside pub restaurant next door has a fantastic buffet breakfast which we highly recommend. All in all I would recommend this Travelodge.
