Some of the staff did try their best and almost apologised for the state of the place and the staff that weren’t as polite."

"Room was unbearably hot with no air conditioning and the windows on the ground floor are restricted to only open an inch or so. Only one bath towel between two of us, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. The very nice man in reception offered to move us into another room but frankly it was just too hot to pack up and move everything we had already unpacked."

"We've stayed here a few times as it's very convenient for visiting family. The good things are the staff are nice, the breakfasts are good and the room was clean. It was quiet and we got a good night's sleep. This time though, our room was very small compared with some of the others. Just enough space to push past between the bed and the desk, and just the one chair. So you were sitting on the bed mainly. OK for a night but not ideal for a few days. It is also getting a bit shabby, and could do with a refresh."
