Lovely service and meal.at lunchtime beautiful gardens and attentive staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble food was very nice and dessert . On a lovely sunny day we really enjoyed our visit lovely inside and out in gardens very impressed thank you

Stayed three nights in this lovely village pub. The food was excellent. Rooms were clean, tidy and well equipped. Chris, Yolanda and their staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Lovely gardens, hanging baskets were gorgeous. They advised local areas to explore. It was all perfect, wish it could have been a longer stay.

Great pub serving excellent food and real Ales, friendly staff and owners. The room we stayed in was clean, tidy and well equipped. Sunday carvery was amazing! Set in a lovely village and the locals were very welcoming.

Our party of 9 plus a small dog had lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. From start to finish we were made very welcome we ate outside in the lovely garden. The food was excellent all well presented and the staff very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. One member of our party has coeliac disease so having a gluten free menu was particularly important and he really enjoyed his pasta dish. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their visit to The White Lion. Thank you.

An excellent three night stay and I can’t imagine how it could have been any better. The service provided by everyone associated with the White Lion was simply superb. We ate, we drank and were merry.

Great find!! Had a great night with friends staying over night , everything was perfect . Will definitely be back again . Lovely garden to relax with a drink after exploring the area . Food good, breakfast good. No complaints at all Staff brilliant

Excellent country pub/B and B ideally situated for a trip to Rutland water. Friendly staff, lovely quiet comfortable room and great breakfast delivered with a smile. Evening meal in the busy bar was also excellent-good food, good service and good value. Highly recommended.

An excellent venue and good value. The room (no.1) was very comfortable and clean with large en-suite with bath and shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was hearty and set you up for the day. The location is quiet and picturesque whilst being central for Rutland Water, Oakham etc. Would highly recommend.
