HOTEL MYSTAYS Okayama ★★★
"Just stayed one night at the hotel, we arrived in the evening and there are girls standing along the roadside outside the hotel so not a great location with kids. Otherwise decent hotel with easy access to the train station."
Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama ★★★★
"Stay here as a base to cover Kurashiki, Okayama, and Takamatsu. Literally next to Okayama sta, and also has a public hot bath which help sooth the leg muscle after a full day of travel and walk. Appreciate the massage chair at the public bath. Highly recommended."
The OneFive Okayama ★★★
"Very good location. Close to Okayama castle. Also close to the station. Momiji illumination was perfect"
Okayama Koraku Hotel ★★★
"Enjoyed my stay at the Okayama Koraku Hotel! It is about 10 minutes walk from the station. Facilities and service were great and breakfast was delicious."
VIA INN OKAYAMA JR-West Group ★★★
"This hotel in Okayama was by far the most comforting and reassuring place I stayed on my trip – I absolutely loved it! It's everything I imagine a Japanese hotel to be: minimalist yet stylish, and impeccably clean. The location right in front of the JR station is super convenient, making it an easy walk without any hassle. Even if it's windy or raining, getting out is no problem at all. I highly recommend this hotel; I'd definitely return to Okayama just to stay here again."
Hotel Abest Grande Okayama ★★★
"The environment is great, and the service is also very good. It's a decent place to stay, with perks like a complimentary drink in the evening and juice in the morning. And yes, it's a private single room. However, I wouldn't really recommend the capsule hotel style here, mainly because of the poor soundproofing. You can clearly hear the hairdryer from the communal shower area, which means you might not get a good night's sleep."
Hotel Maira ★★
"The bathrooms are also clean, so you can relax and unwind in a soak. The free bread and ice cream in the lobby are great. I was surprised at how cheap the alcohol in the vending machines was."
APA Hotel & Resort Okayama Eki Shinkansen Guchi - Opening August 6 (Thu), 2026 ★★★★
Hotel Granvia Okayama ★★★★
"This hotel is genuinely great. There's a dedicated passage directly from the JR station to the hotel, so you don't even need an umbrella if it's raining. Dining is incredibly convenient too; there are all sorts of restaurants in the commercial area right downstairs, from ramen to coffee. Everything is perfect!"

Okayama Ekimae Universal Hotel
"Good value business hotel at a decent distance from the train station. Old hotel but well run with good service. Meals included is a plus. Entrance is a bit difficult to locate if you have not preplanned to find it. Strict rule on leaving the key with counter every time you step out of the hotel so do note that. A recommended stay for the budget business traveller."
Ark Hotel Okayama -Route Inn Hotels-
"The location was close to the station, and the room was clean and comfortable."
Kuretake Inn Okayama
"The facilities in some public areas are used frequently and are subject to significant wear and tear, but the room environment is quite comfortable."
Hotel Lotus Okayama Adult Only
"great place and good bf"
Shikinokaban
"It seemed to be close to the airport, so I made a reservation. The taxi seemed to be not easy in the early morning, and the front desk was very kind to help me arrange. The room is very large, open and polite. It was a little cold, but if you bring something to eat, there seems to be a kitchen. The hot springs are currently under renovation and have not been put in. It was in a very quiet place and the birds were comfortable in the morning."
Super Hotel Okayama Station Higashiguchi
"Check-in too late – 3:00 PM. Check-out too early. It's unclear why they're charging for it if the actual room usage is less than 24 hours."
San Peach Okayama
"The room was spacious, and I appreciated that a samue (traditional Japanese work clothing) was provided and that I could use the large public bath. The TV and internet connection were also new. Breakfast was a set meal (rice, soup, and drinks were free). I think it would be good if the check-in process was handled using IT. Otherwise, it was good."
Okayama Momotaro Onsen
Hotel Trend Okayama Ekimae
"The room is quite small, but it is ok for a single person. The light in the room can be adjusted by itself, which is great. The location is very good."
APA Hotel Okayama Ekimae
"I was glad the room was clean."
Hotel AreaOne Okayama
"The room wasn't big, but it was very close to the shopping mall."
Okayama City Hotel Koseicho
"Aside from being a little far from the station, I was very satisfied. The room was spacious and comfortable, and both the Japanese and Western breakfasts were delicious. I will use this hotel again."
