First, I drive a box truck. They were not showing truck parking on the website. I called, and Misha looked, and assured me I could fit the truck. She was courteous, and helpful when asked. I have called other places, that behaved like I was wasting their time calling, but she was stellar. Next there was the cheerful help Kaylnn provided, when I thought the refrigerator wasn't working. Turns out the refrigerator was on low, and was so quiet, you couldn't hear it running. The owner made special arrangements for me when I needed to stay another night. All the king nonsmoking rooms were already booked for the night, but he found a way to let me stay in room I was in. The room was clean and comfortable and bathroom looked fantastic. She in the area, I would certainly stay here again. Last note - the staff are wonderful, and to me, that's a very high point on the review.

My name is Susan Newton I am an IHG member. When I booked this hotel thru IHG I was given the amount of $75.82 per night. $20. 47 taxes/gharges for 3 nights equalling $247.9 08/28/21- 08/31/21 I was put in room #325. On 08/29/21 I woke up early morning with an infestation of ants in my room. The ants were all over the desk, the table and on my clothing. I was horrified and in total disbelief. I immediately called thr front desk. The attendant came to my room saw the infestation of ants. She then exterminated the area with a bug spray. Shortly after I was assigned another room. Room #111. I spent the majority of that morning washing my clothes. 2 of the dryers in the laundry room was broken and all 3 washers were taken by other residents. The attendant was kind enough to help me put my items in the laundry room. I was not offered a valet to clean my clothes. I had to buy laundry detergent to was my own clothes. To soften the blow I was offered a discount for each night stay down to 65.00 per night. I accepted the offer. In room #111 the bath tub has a large slit that could cause a cut. I avoided stepping on it. Very uncomfortable shower. I didn't complain because I felt... this is as good as it gets. Very disappointed. I was already stressed. I slept with lights on, afraid of more bugs crawling on me. On 08/31/21 when checking out. I get a final bill for the amount of $247.94. The same amount that was quoted when originally booking the hotel. No adjustments. Matter of fact I was charged more for the first night than what was quoted thru IHG. I waited for over an hour while the front desk personnel tried getting in touch with management. I was told to write a letter and someone will call me later and adjust the cost. I have pictures and videos of my experiences. This is not what a clean promise and good customer service entails. These matters should have been handled and addressed by management immediately. I have yet to speak to a manager. I have more videos and pictures. But the file is too large to attach. I need answers immediately. The first room offered had a broken and unusable shower which should have been noticed if the room had been properly cleaned. Bath had black hairs in it. Second room was on other side of building so was facing the road and noisy. The bed was comfortable but felt damp. The fridge had broken shelf bits in it, and the micro door lock very hard to open. If you asked at Reception, you could get complimentary bottled water. The lady on late afternoon evening was friendly, but the breakfast team most definitely were not. Breakfast was limited with burrito and baps/croissant with ham/cheese that you could warm-up in the micro if you like that sort of thing. Oatmeal, toast or bagels otherwise. There wasn't any milk for tea but they did have Earl Grey.. The hotel was not spotless but there were drums of wipes by the lift which was good so you could clean things for yourself. The gym was small but kit was OK with two treadmills, a stepper and electronic barbells.

I was traveling to Olive Branch with my family for a family reunion. I did not choose this hotel but because of management I don't think I will be staying at this establishment for future visits. Management staff does not listen and appears to be single minded . The general manager did not respond when I asked to speak with him and the operational manage appeared to be agitated because I asked to speak with him. The entire incident that happened at the front desk with the operational manager was embarrassing and the situation could have been avoided and fixed if she would have taken the time to listen to me and my family. Also, if she would have informed General Manager Eugene Perez of the incident when requested maybe we would not have been treated as if we was attempting to steal services. After the counter incident, it took less than 5minutes to have the fraud alert removed from our credit card. The opportunity to rectify this was not given to to lack of sensitivity and communication skills. A young man who was wearing a maintenance name tag showed more compassion and concern than the General manager and Operational manager and understood that when you travel that if a bank see multiple charges from the same place in the same amount that the bank may apply a fraud alert on the card. You have the wrong people running the hotel. Other staff is great as well. Cassandra was awesome and Malik. They treated you like the truly appreciated your business. We stayed one additional night and the general manager never came to speak to me about by concerns. Not even to see the out come. I used another credit card so there was not reason to chat with me. also.....because of the payment issues, the cleaning staff did not put clean towels in our rooms as requested . Even after we settled the bill, we did not receive our towels. I had to go to the front desk when we returned for the evening to get towels Note: cleaning staff told us we had to go to the front desk to settle our bill. Not management. 2 hours of my vacations was spent dealing with this .

Worst hotel experience ever and I’m still dealing with it. Steven, the night manager, is a liar. The elevator is broken and has been for some time now and I was told it will be for awhile. They put us on the 3rd floor. We decided it was fine and would deal with lugging all our luggage up three flights of stairs as a family of 5. The hallway outside our room was 88 degrees per the thermostat on the wall. Again, we would deal with that since it wasn’t our room. We drop our luggage and go eat. When we get back it’s after 9:00 and getting ready for bed. We notice the A/C in the room is not getting any cooler. Our floor is sticky. Even the carpet is sticky. I go down to the front desk and talk to Steven. He was apologetic and another worker told us they’d move us to a room down the hall and wanted us to go check to make sure the A/C was working. 🚩 red flag. I ask if there was the same amount of beds and I was told yes. My husband goes down to check and there were not enough beds. So I go back down to the front desk and tell them. Steven looked very surprised by this. He then says he can move us to the first floor. I ask if there’s the same amount of beds. He tells me no. They don’t have any more suites available. I send a text to my husband and he says no he doesn’t want to lug all the luggage and kids down and still have to squeeze into the beds. I tell Steven that my husband said no he didn’t want to move. Steven then tells me he’s giving us 3,000 points and he got the price down to $75. I said okay. Never did I say we were leaving the hotel or wanted to check out. At 7:30 the following morning we were awoken by someone trying to come in our room. The door opened and hit the lock bar. Scared all of us. My husband goes out to see what it’s about and a man is standing there saying he was told we were checked out and he needed to fix the A/C. This was news to me because me and Steven never had that conversation. 30 minutes later, the same guy and a front desk clerk both come up and told my husband we were checked out. So after getting all the kids up and around we load up in the car and I go to check out. Cherita at the front desk was extremely rude and said she had called Steven at home and woke him up and he told her we were checked out and now to charge us the full price of the room. I said no, he said it would be $75. She was very rude so I asked for her name. She grabbed her name tag and basically pushed it in my face. I grabbed the business card for the district manager. I called and left a message for Katrina the DM. Two days later Katrina calls me and apologizes and says that’s not the way she does things. She asked for my email and said if I gave her a couple days she would send me a receipt for $0.00 balance. I thought okay. That’s great. We get home from vacation and check our credit card statement. We have been charged the full price of the room. I call the hotel and Steven answers. I explain to him w

Clean and tidy, good surroundings

As a business traveler traveling with my wife there are key aspects that are critical and key aspects I want to dispense with 1: Clean rooms - excellent 2: good beds - excellent 3: fresh towels, hot water, quality soap - excellent 4: Hot breakfast - excellent 5: Self parking - lighted - excellent 6: workout area - bright, roomy 7: coffee in room - excellent 8: Business center for printing : efficient This hotel excelled at all of the above. As a bonus these rooms and common areas where all recently renovated with fresh paint, clean carpets and no “carpet fresh” smells I also don’t want to be upsold or feel like every service event is a tip or high priced extras I would recommend this hotel to friends family and business associates.
