We stayed in a double side sea view room and it was lovely - nice, modern and very clean. Hairdryer was not included and we had to ask for it. On arrival, staff were friendly but had very little information about bus timetables etc considering Brela only had 2 restaurants open. Instead, we walked up a relatively steep hill to find the bus timetable and we luckily timed it right to catch a bus into Split - I’ve added the timetable (April 2025). Moreover, we walked to Baska Voda and took a bus to Markaska which were both very lovely and had a bit more going on. Unfortunately weather was a bit rubbish aside from two days that were sunny with a strong wind. Our main down side of our holiday was the restaurant and the food situation. Breakfast was good: juice available and a fairly good selection of food. However, dinner was not as good. Limited selection of food & poor service (no one came over to take drinks unless we called them over and even added a service charge which was unclear if it was mandatory or not). Additionally no one seemed to dress up? Maybe it’s the time of year we went but we felt quite disappointed. Overall, Brela is lovely and even out of peak we loved the scenery and restaurants outside the hotel are cheaper and seemed friendlier. Other places we visited also were lovely and would recommend as Croatia is very beautiful. Would just be nicer if the hotel had more going on (no entertainment, no games room, bars seemed closed and outdoor pool closed) and we ended up going to bed early. It would also be helpful for reception to have a map of the hotel and bus timetables.

This holiday was a surprise birthday treat from my Daughter It wasn't our original booking but they offered us this hotel instead Beautiful hotel, room was spacious & adequate & a lovely view of the sea. Restaurant was amazing, a great selection of food at breakfast & dinner. They catered for everyone Very friendly staff in the restaurant They even allowed us to grab breakfast at 6.30am before we left st 7am The hotel was quite mainly because it was out of season but it suited us both as we just wanted to chill & do nothing. My only complaint is that we wasn't offered the conveyor belt on our departure. I am in my 70s & our mini bus pick.up was up the top of a steep hill, after chatting to another couple that were also waiting their suitcases were sent up the "easier" route. One other tiny fault, the cups in the room were far to small for a decent early morning cuppa!! Unless you like alot of walking or hire a car there isn't much to do here. We did find a supermarket & carried on walking till we ended up.on the seafront, walked back to the hotel That was a lovely walk & pretty scenery We passed a lovey little harbour in Plaza Soline. This was a bit busier with a few cafes & restaurants

Staying in Brela in May will be a very different experience than staying in the height of summer. Not all of the restaurants and bars were open and that applied to the hotels a la carte. Also bring cash as few bars, restaurants or tour companies take cards. Booked a sea view room which is a must. Ours was on the 3rd floor and looked out over Brela and the beach. It was lovely to have the doors to the room open and to hear the waves. The room had a comfy bed, lots of storage space and a decent shower. There were 3 USB ports in the room which was really helpful. Great kettle, no proper tea bags (we take our own) and no milk. Cleaning was also a bit hit and miss. Food - breakfast was OK. Tinned fruit and eggs that were never hot. An area in the middle that was used just for pancakes - a missed opportunity for an egg station. There were gluten free bread and croissants (on request) though overall there was a problem with the food labelling. Dinner is between 7 and 9 and everyone arrives at 7. Give it time to order your drinks (extra and with a 10% service charge added) and let the rush die down. Soups were OK though again poorly labelled for gluten free, salads the best with some great choices and the mains a real let down with the meats losing heat quickly. There were fresh pizzas being made in the pizza ovens. We ate out at 3 of the local restaurants for some variation. We did also raise the issue of food labelling with the restaurant manager and one of the directors. There was some immediate change but not entirely accurate (pasta does contain gluten!) Pool area - there were about 60 sun loungers for a hotel that at peak could have over 500 guests. They need more. There is no beach and beds are being charged at €10 per bed for the day. The waters though were crystal clear. The staff were really lovely (particularly Nitin and Filip) and helpful and a credit to the hotel. The gym has moved so don’t follow the current signage. Overall it’s a lovely hotel in a fabulous location just a short 5 minute walk to the supermarkets, bars and restaurants of Brela.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. We had a beautiful room, very clean and comfortable and a beautiful sea view. Great atmosphere around the hotel. All staff very friendly and welcoming. The spa was an added bonus especially on a cloudy day, easy to book treatment for the next day and great treatment rooms. Tia gave a great massage. Breakfast was excellent, honestly so much choice. Whatever you could possibly want was available. Dinner also super, so much choice, nice atmosphere, staff extremely quick to get drinks orders to tables. Pleasant outdoor area and atmosphere. Swimming pool also great with towels provided. The hotel is right on the beach front. Beautiful crystal clear water and lovely beaches. Walking in either direction was great. Flat Coast path made for easy walking. Beautiful views and sunsets. Brela is a small town, the centre about 10mins walk from hotel. But near to the hotel are several restaurants and cafes and delicious ice cream! All in all, we had a great 4 days away. Would recommend.

A fantastic hotel in a perfect location right on the sea front promenade, we had a superior double room with side sea view which actually was as good as a full sea view. The room was spotless and spacious with a free safe which was a bonus. Food was plentiful with a good choice for breakfast and dinner, a special mention to Anita, she was so friendly and always gave us a hug, in fact all the staff were very friendly and helpful, as is Croatia in general, a beautiful country. The hotel is situated in the small village of Brela but has a good selection of bars and shops along the promenade which stretches a good 10km, 3km to the left is the town of Baska Voda a 20 min walk but an easy paved flat walk, likewise to the right of the hotel another 7km easy flat paved walk, either way is stunning. If you are booking trips then the hotel reception has them all with a staffed booking desk most days. I strongly recommend the sky walk via Tuk Tuk, well worth the extra cost, also Krka National park, approx 1.5hrs by coach, bus stop is just a 100 yards up from hotel, Krka N.P is simply breathtaking with stunning waterfalls, paradise found here. Oh and not forgetting the magical sunsets. Thank you to all at Blue Sun Soline, our first visit to Croatia, it was magical, a stunning holiday. Faultless.

This hotel has everything which could easily be a five star, with some further care and attention, but the one thing which would prevent it is the lack of personal touch and hospitality around meal times, especially. It was a stark contrast to all other aspects of this hotel, as it was minimal interaction from staff and felt like a school canteen. Offering guests water should be a basic given with food, and guests should not be expected to pay for that if they have paid for a board basis stay. Equally, greeting people and saying hello would also make for good service. Glasses were actively taken away the one evening we declined paying for four drinks. Food was nice enough but went cold rather quickly as the hot plates were not hot enough. The fridge in our room did not work and the air conditioning unit just blasted hot air, so that got turned off. Other than this, the hotel is beautiful, the rooms fine (albeit with an ant issue), and the location is to die for. We all fell in love with Croatia, and would probably return to this hotel, despite the minor gripes I’ve mentioned. We loved how quiet it was at this time of year. The pool was lovely and the spa services were fantastic too. The man on reception was lovely and made us feel very welcome. He made a good first impression. If that level of care was extended to all staff who interact with holiday makers, this would elevate this hotel further. Thank you for a lovely holiday and I hope you take this review to be constructive as we really did enjoy being a guest with you.

The junior apartments are great! The staff took care of the small ants for us that were visiting from the 2 balconies, and it was always very clean. We tried to make up the beds to help but the staff did it so much better! The pillows are big and fluffy and the showers have good pressure, we were lucky to have one bathroom with a shower and one with a bathtub which was perfect for our baby to use. The food was good, especially the honey and fresh salad and the staff was nice, my little baby loved them. They have high chairs for babies but I took a learning glass/bottle and plate with me. It's a short walk to beautiful beaches, ice cream and restaurants, in addition to 2 playgrounds. The inside pool is too deep for kids that are learning to swim so we always went in the sea, but the outside pools will be perfect when open in the summer time for the smaller kids. The staff and management resolved an issue with us which we appreciate very much. Brela is a total relaxation and the hotel is perfectly situated for couples and families.

Perfect getaway with my elderly mother who has mobility issues. We were able to relax in our comfortable room with sea views and spent lots of time on loungers overlooking the pine-fringed sea vistas. We also enjoyed the pool and spa (exceptional therapeutic massage) as well as a few gentle walks along the smooth and well-designed promenade. All staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. Shoutout to Mila and Dinora on the reception desk who went the extra mile to make our experience comfortable and wonderful.
