"Evaluation of the TIMGADE Hotel in Oran. Unfortunately, my experience upon arrival at the TIMGADE hotel in Oran was extremely disappointing. The staff at the reception were unwelcoming and seemed disinterested. No effort has been made to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lack of professionalism of the staff was striking. Employees appeared disorganized and uncompetent in performing their tasks. Simple requests like WIFI were handled poorly which added to my feeling of frustration and discomfort. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The general attitude of the staff was indifferent and unconcerned with the well-being of the guests. Although the cleanliness of my room was acceptable, other parts of the hotel appeared poorly maintained. Common facilities were dirty and in disrepair, which would contribute to an overall feeling of neglect. The breakfast, far from reflecting the photos on the advertising model, consisted of a simple café au lait, the pastries consisted of 4 bread croutons and 2 madeleine type cakes. Conclusion: Overall, my stay at the TIMGADE hotel in Oran was very disappointing due to the poor welcome and the lack of professionalism of the staff. I would not recommend this property to other travelers unless significant changes are made to the hotel's management and service culture."

"Very nice hotel, not my first time here, but the service is lacking… I got my room at 5 PM instead of 3 PM, which is a huge deal after 20 hours of travel… Terrace service was very slow, seems like they're short-staffed… but the housekeepers were super kind and efficient, and so was security! It's still a beautiful hotel with a great location, but the service from the waiters in the restaurant and on the terrace has really gone downhill!"

"A very beautiful hotel with clean rooms and an absolutely stunning view. The food is delicious and varied, making for a very enjoyable dining experience. However, some of the restaurant cashiers do not reflect the standards of a five-star establishment. One of them, who also works as a bartender, sometimes adopts an unprofessional attitude. Customer service training would be highly recommended for some staff members, who don't even bother to smile and address guests in an aggressive tone. Aside from that, the spa is pleasant, clean, and well-maintained, contributing to a relaxing stay. Overall, a very nice hotel, but with a real need for improvement in the restaurant's customer service."

"Very uncomfortable bedding, I woke up with pain in my back and neck. Heating not working. A single remote control for 2 televisions. And of course, the famous bathroom bordering on unsanitary. I had to wait 1 hour for extra pillows"

"I stayed at the Hotel Le Palme for 4 days to lead a seminar. I found a very warm welcome and staff attentive to the needs of the guests. The seminar room was very pleasant and well equipped. The meals (buffets) were varied and of very good quality. The room was very comfortable, with a large TV and very well soundproofed. I recommend this hotel and if I return to Oran... I know where to stay."

The seating area in front of the restaurant is very nice in Arabic style. The buffet is very extensive in the morning and evening. The hotel is located a little outside the center, but can be reached by tram."
