The Scandic Helsfyr is easily accessible from the airport (Flybussen) and from the city center (route bus and/or metro), just a few minutes away. The Helsfyr T station is less than 10 minutes away on foot, as are the two route bus stations. We got a very nice, quiet, and renovated room on the 8th floor. The room was well-equipped (including a safe, refrigerator, etc.), and the bathroom was a decent size. The gym in the basement was well-equipped. The breakfast buffet was incredible with a huge selection. The hotel staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the hotel and would book it again anytime!

The hotel is near convenience stores and many restaurants, and it's also close to museums and the opera house, making sightseeing very convenient. The hotel boasts a very modern and innovative design, and it is relatively new. The rooms are clean, safe, and quiet.
The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful, and kind. The hotel facilities are also excellent, including a 24-hour self-service coffee and tea bar and a 24/7 gym facility.
The only bad thing is that it is a 10-minute walk from the central train station.

The hotel is close to the Toyen metro station, anout 10m walk. It’s one stop away from Oslo railway station that has direct train from airport. It’s very convenient to get to from the airport. The room is big and has a full furnished kitchen. It also has a washing machine.

The check-in time is 16:00. I suppose to receive the pin code of the main entrance and the information of my room by 16:00 according to the confirmation e-mail. I didn't receive the e-mail at that time. I was not able to call. Some locals help us to give a call. My friend gave his e-mail address to the staff but he still cannot receive the pin code. We were not able to get in. I finally receive the e-mail from the hotel 40 minutes after the check-in time. We waited for so long. That's an awful experience.
By the way, there is a chewed bubble gum on the kitchen table...

Would recommend to group travelers. It's also important to remember the location provided on this app is not the location of your room but your office. I need to walk for another 10 minutes to get to where I stayed, so pls don't choose this place if you have heavy luggage with you. Otherwise the environment is very nice. It's close to the Munch Museum and Opera House, and too far away from the train station. The apartment is very spacious with a full on kitchen, washer and balcony. But please also remember to bring your own shampoo, because it's not provided here.

The hotel is very warm and the front desk is very good. fully equipped. The breakfast is particularly delicious. It is all like to eat. It is not too far from the station to walk. Overall it is very convenient.
