Hotel Dieksee - Collection by Ligula ★★★★
"Rooms good, bathrooms came into the years. Breakfast and staff super."
PLAZA Premium Timmendorfer Strand ★★★★
"The hotel is showing its age; the rooms are very spacious, but cleanliness isn't great. The mirrors in the room and bathroom are mediocre, and the shower is very limescaled. As for the amenities, everything is excellent. The swimming pool is a good size, but the sauna is very small for the size of the hotel. Cleanliness in the sauna could be improved. Breakfast is quite alright."
Hotel Lübecker Hof ★★★★
"OK for individual examination,"
Aja Grömitz ★★★★
"The hotel offers free access to the water park, which is great for kids. The rooms are a bit small and not very spacious. There's a diving facility nearby, but it's only open Wednesday through Sunday. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for a family vacation."
B&B Hotel Neustadt in Holstein
"I was completely satisfied with the hotel, good location, clean everything top ."
Hotel Wissers ★★★
"Solid price-performance ratio"
Haus Stern ★★★
"I been many hotels in my life. This one is quite special. Let’s start with the location: In a small village where you feel pull back 50 years, silence and nostalgia dominates. We had the family room, perfectly decorated; kitchen, living room and two bedroom. All super clean. Check in, do not expect reception, all is so perfectly described so when you arrive all is ready for you: keys and a lot of information how all works out. You need make sure you have all with you, there is nothing around the village, no breakfast and also no shop (at least nothing we found). But all that is not a problem, when people go there they plan anyway accordingly: you have just 10 min drive to Weissenhaeuser Strand, with beach and all you need. I loved this place, can only recommend it strongly. So much to see there and the walks there, silence dominates, i enjoy it"
Hotel Royal ★★★★
"Superrr"
Hotel Cammann Grömitz ★★★★

Bayside
"**Absolutely Horrible Experience – Threatened Over Ketchup and Mayo** I have never written a review on TripAdvisor but after what I experienced in the Roof Restaurant bar I felt compelled to and hopefully, I will save people some money from this scam. I’m beyond appalled by the way we were treated at Roof Bayside Resturant. What was supposed to be a simple meal turned into one of the most stressful dining experiences I’ve ever had, all because of a miscommunication over ketchup and mayo. We asked for ketchup and mayo, assuming it was a standard condiment with our meal, (the menu was not on the table) only to be told later we had to pay an extra 24 euros for it. Had this been communicated clearly from the start, we wouldn’t have had an issue paying. However, instead of handling this situation professionally or clarifying any confusion, the staff *threatened* to call the police on us. Over condiments! This was a shocking overreaction and completely ruined our experience. There was absolutely no need to escalate something so minor into a hostile situation. The staff’s behavior was rude, intimidating, and entirely out of line, they laughed and talked amongst eachother. We felt like we were being treated like criminals over something that could have been resolved with a simple explanation or conversation. For a restaurant to treat paying customers and guests at the hotel this way is unacceptable. Not only was the service appalling, but it showed a complete lack of respect for customer service. We won’t be returning, and I urge others to think twice before supporting a place that treats its guests so poorly. Disgraceful."
Weissenhaus Private Nature Luxury Resort
"In every respect worth the trip: the location, the gardens, the restaurants . Very friendly and professional staff"
Avalon Hotel Bellevue
HofHotel Krähenberg
Maritim Seehotel Timmendorfer Strand
"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, even though the furniture is quite dated. And having to peel and slice my own green cucumber at the breakfast buffet was rather amusing. Friendly staff, very good service, breakfast was okay."
Hotel Gran BelVeder & Ostsee Therme Resort & Spa
"We stayed at the Gran Belveder for two nights in February 2026 and left with very mixed feelings. We found the location directly on the Baltic Sea to be a very positive aspect, as well as the opportunity for hotel guests to enjoy the Baltic Sea thermal baths for an hour each morning without other visitors. Unfortunately, there were several issues that prevented us from visiting this hotel again or recommending it. Breakfast was okay, but the selection was rather limited for a five-star hotel. Dinner was also adequate, but nothing special. We therefore ate our second dinner out. Our room was very dated; there was no sign of the high-quality furnishings we've come to expect from other five-star hotels. We were glad we booked in February, as air conditioning is only available in the suites, where dogs are not allowed. With climate change, it can certainly get quite hot in the summer. However, what is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this category is the shower enclosure consisting of a curtain and the either non-existent or malfunctioning ventilation in the windowless bathroom. The crowning glory was the completely stained carpet, which desperately needs replacing. I didn't want to walk there barefoot, as it was quite disgusting. All in all, the Gran Belveder certainly has its merits, but compared to other hotels in this category and price range, it definitely deserves one star too many, and even two in terms of the bathroom, and the flooring leaves one speechless."
Hotel Restaurant Burg-Klause
"Good location, rich and good breakfast, clean and large enough rooms"
Strandhotel an der Ostsee
"Good hotel, reception helps well. Only the cousins on the bed were too soft"
Hafenhotel Meereszeiten
Hotel Gremersdorf - Zum Grünen Jäger
IFA Fehmarn Hotel & Ferien-Centrum
Sandnature
"We had a wonderful time at SAND in Timmendorfer Strand. It is a stylish and cozy hotel very close to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks super delicious and the rooms nice and clean. We will definitely return to this place!"
