The Lawrence

We got married at The Lawrence on Saturday. It was the most perfect day and that was down to the meticulous care and attention given by the whole team. Olivia was an amazing wedding coordinator and ensured everything went to time without a hitch. The whole venue looked beautiful. Our guests were all commenting on the lovely building and decor, the intimate setting, and of course, the amazing food. From canapés, to wedding breakfast, evening Buffet and breakfast the next morning everything was delicious and served with the utmost care and by friendliest team of hospitality staff. Honestly those young people were amazing. I cannot recommend nor thank Michael and his team and The Lawrence enough. Memories will last us a lifetime.

This was a return visit with a large group of work friends, the food was amazing, and service was excellent. Staff were very attentive and offered tea and coffee refills more than once. I am now thinking of booking again for a themed afternoon tea. Thank you

The service was excellent from first enquiry to the actual stay. The food at our Golden Wedding Anniversary meal was superb and the staff made all our plans come together. The accommodation was high quality and the whole event was topped off by an exceptional breakfast.

We chose the Lawrence for our twilight plus wedding as we wanted somewhere big enough to deliver and small enough to care and we got just that. The team were amazing with customer service levels rarely seen, every single member of staff were just fantastic and went above and beyond in every way. Olivia, Josh and all the team did the most amazing job to make our day run swiftly and smoothly. Aside from the service the food was amazing. Little touches like the guest kitchen, decorating our room (still don’t know who did that) and decorating my cake (Olivia) when I couldn’t sneak down to do it! I think you did a great job and it looked amazing. We would highly recommend The Lawrence to anyone considering having their wedding here. Michael clearly has a level of excellence that his staff live up to! Can’t wait to return to celebrate our anniversary or any excuse to be honest :) Thank you

What a wonderful find it was like going back in time. Fantastic Staff Beautiful Room Upgrade and delicious food. To the Management please will you pass on to all your Staff our thanks for looking after us during our stay. The young lady who served us in the Evening especially .I am sorry i forgot her name. Always stay here. The very best service, food and people. I always recommend this hotel and always want to come back would highly recommend. The rooms, the food are great. Perfect for a trip around Pendle hill and the surrounding areas. Parking is available if you get there early enough- otherwise street parking is fine.
