Lidder Spring Resorts Pahalgam

If u r staying in Pahalgam u should stay at Lidder spring resorts it has hot water even in toilets which is must in such cold places we had a very nice stay hot water all day long good food friendly stay clean rooms a must visit property They serve u hot Roti’s while dinner and breakfast

Pros: -Good location near Lidder -Proper room heating -Clean, comfortable rooms Cons -Inspite of promising us 4 river facing rooms when we booked 3 months ahead, provided only 2 river view, 1 valley view and 1 no view room. Although there were with-view rooms available, they lied to us -1 room had the toilet seat broken.Initially they tried to convince us it's absolutely fine and we should use it. But when we resisted, we were told, no plumber was available. When asked for an alternate room, we were told no room was available. And when we pressed, they actually gave another room. Such deceptive management -Some decors and fixtures were again broken in the alternate room -Manager was extremely rude and incompetent. He tried to mislead us throughout and spoke awfully.

We were suppose to stay here for two nights but checked out after one night.. Read on to know the reasons- 1.The property is extremely small as in 6-9 rooms total including ground floor, first and second floor. 2.There is no lidder river view at all from the hotel and you need to walk down the road to have view. 3.The food that we had gave our child food poisoning. The dinner area looks like a small store room at the backside of the hotel. 4.Its 14 kms away from actual Pahelgam market to be very precise. 5.In real terms its a lodge not 1% features of RESORT is seen. 6.ONLY Good part is that they hace AC in rooms which most of the five star hotels in Pahelgam do not have. 7.The restaurant staff was humble and quick at their work but cleanliness was an issue since our child fell sick. 8. All the locks of the rooms as well as washroom are faulty and gets stuck the moment somebody tries to close the door. We had to call room service atleast 20 times since we were getting stuck either in washroom or room. We had to push the card from Beneath the door and then help them to open. 9. If someone opens the door of their room the room besides starts shaking. 10.Someone entered our room while we were asleep and then excused themselves which left us feel unsafe. After reading this you can decide to book or not! We stayed in 3rd week of July
