I never take the time to review my stays. In this case I felt compelled a this has been maybe the best boutique resort that I have had.
Just stay at this hotel and look no longer it’s worth every penny.
Thank you very much to Amun Ini team for an unforgettable experience. Even if the weather did not allow for snorkeling the place is a piece of paradise.

I had the most amazing week in Amun Ini, the highlight were the dive sites and Dive Master Lito, superb accommodation with a gorgeous private beach. Meals were well prepared and I enjoyed breakfast on my private balcony. I can't fault a thing ....It was truly a perfect week.

On our fourth dive trip to the Philippines, we ended a 3-week stay with a week at Amun Ini on Bohol Island. It is, in a word, WONDERFUL! The resort is intimate (only 16 rooms), beautifully appointed, the perfect mix of comfort and elegance, with a terrific restaurant. The dive operation is friendly and professional, very supportive, with a nice mix of muck, critters and beautiful walls, not to mention many turtles! We loved our stay and hope to return again soon.

The place is wildly beautiful, with a magnificent flour-sand beach where the diving starts. The rooms and restaurant are top-notch, and the staff are attentive and kind enough to warm the heart. The dive sites are magnificent (mainly falling walls) and the dive center team is superb. Downsides: The rest of the facilities (pool and terrace, dive center building, pedestrian path, etc.) give the impression of having been abandoned to the elements: rust, wild grass, a gigantic concrete terrace covered with an absolutely repulsive synthetic lawn, beach mattresses, and plastic tarps. It's a pity because a small investment (is the owner of this resort read those comment ?) in a wooden/natural terrace would make the whole thing incredible. Strange points: when you are lying on a beach lounger for the day (which demonstrates your resistance to red ants), no drinks or other service is offered to you, as if the beach was not part of the hotel. Last detail: we were welcomed by a great team but no one to say goodbye when we left, which was a shame.

Unforgettable Diving Getaway! This resort is a hidden gem—perfect for divers and beach lovers alike. The diving experience was truly world-class. My husband and daughter even completed their certification in just three days, guided by excellent instructors. The resort itself is top-notch: spotless rooms, fresh towels, crisp bedsheets, and spacious accommodations. The staff, especially Freddie and Jeff, went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. From providing cold water and refreshing towels during our two-hour drive from Bohol Airport to arranging our meals before arrival—they thought of everything. The beach is stunning, with soft, white sand and deep blue waters—easily comparable to Boracay but more private and peaceful. The food was delicious, with a great mix of local and international flavors. My only suggestion would be to include more fresh fish and seafood on the menu. Access from Manila is simple, making this the perfect quick escape. Thank you again to Freddie, Jeff, and the entire team for an unforgettable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Amun Ini is probably one of, if not THE, most authentic resort you can stay at on the island. You can simply tell the resort was created and is run with care and passion for nature and local heritage, reflected in the architecture, vegetation and warm hospitality. The team is super friendly and the rooms are spacious and lovely. The restaurant offers a wide variety of cuisines and top notch dishes, my personal favourite the Cioppino soup or local fish ceviche, my son loved their crispy pizza and pasta dishes. If diving or snorkeling is your thing, they have a great and experienced team on site to cater to your needs, with local reefs literally just minutes away by boat. Getting here might take longer than other more "mainstream" resorts, but once you get here you have truly arrived.
