Alecos Hotel Apartments

Facilities were basic Plug sockets were limited so would recommend taking extension socket as we were fighting over who charged technology first Soap and scourer and fairy liquid weren’t available so need to take your own and no toiletries in the bathroom at all apart from toilet rolls . The room was clean and loads of coathangers Room was cleaned daily and towels and bedding also changed regulary The swimming pool was nice and plenty of sunbeds Staff were friendly and helpful and location is very good less than 5 mins to harbour We had a quiet room but would probably get noisy in peak season Overall quite basic but good value for money

spotless studio , friendly staff , Hannah on reception is absolutely lovely, kind warm and friendly , an asset to the hotel , the maintenance staff are busy continuously, cleaning n tidying up ,, the housekeeping is spot on , ladies are all so friendly, George in adjacent bar is lovely. he works his scottish kilt off , you get what you pay for location is perfect, central for everything ,, if on lower floor take ear plugs as theres an underground nightclub ( we werent aware ) but dont let it spoil your stay

Great location and a decent pub/restaurant attached to the apartments, that has entertainment most weeknights - though, strangely, not at weekends while I was there. Scot, George, who seemed to do everything from reception duties to impromptu comedy in the bar was a charm, and the ladies that worked there were all pleasant, cheery and helpful. That's all the positives done. Another staff member, Manuel, who worked the bar/restaurant, seemed to treat every request as a chore, and would greet a food order usually with a grunt at best. The accomodation. Oh dear. We chose this because of the decent number of 4 or 5 reviews given, and, I don't really understand people giving these scores for this place. We spoke to several different guests while we were there, and all confirmed what we thought too. I know reviews are subjective, but a lot of them of these apartment are perplexing to us. Our apartment was the most basic I have ever stayed in. The facilities given are the bare minimum. Cheapest furniture available, all the soft furnishings smelled and were stained. Maintenance is almost non-existant. Towels and sheets all had a yellow tinge, with every towel being all frayed or had holes. Our shower head had the worst water pressure ever, took forever to heat up, and came out as a dribble. The main door to the apartment needed re-hung, as it dragged along the floor and was difficult to open, the safe was unuseable ... the list goes on. We didn't use the pool, but were told by other guests that it was quite dirty. Repeated mentions on other reviews about the noise from the nearby club were well founded too, and a quite audible boom, boom, boom from late evening until around 4am WILL disturb your sleep, in block A at least, even if you wear earplugs. In all, no, wouldn't recommend the apartments to anyone, but, if you know what you're getting and would still go, then, best of luck to you.

Great stay in Paphos. Alecos apartments provided us with comfortable accommodation. Could do with a bit of an upgrade to bathrooms. Friendly staff. Friends restaurant was very good, great food. Staff were very helpful and great choice of food. Local to shops, amenities and beach.

The room was basic not very clean the bed was very had all stained with blood and ripped. The shower did not work and we had to move room the shower door was hanging off. There was grime and old food on the bedside cabinets the air condiction was very noisy the fan was blocked with dust in the bathroom kept getting bitten with flee,s so wont be staying hear again

Great holiday,Hotel very central to everything,we where given a room in block C.which was very quite Air con not so good .pool area great always got a bed.Staff really nice.Food in friends bar good.Bed very comfortable, would definitely stay here again.
