This little dive resort located by the riverside and owned by a young diving couple is one of the best of its kind in Brazil and a lovely place to stay in Paraty whether you are a diver or not. Its charming, well-furnished rooms and wonderful tropical garden (which provides great birdwatching opportunities) in a quiet location make for great sleep and also for a peaceful stay just a few minutes from the historic downtown, but enough to enjoy a quiet environment. Highly recommended for couples and small families. For divers, it offers a well-organized dive center and trips to some of the best dive sites in Ilha Grande Bay, plus if you are in a larger group you can stay at a separate house with suites and private garden in the resort area. My preferred stay in the region without a doubt.

I am really happy I decided to stay than Canto do Ilé. Besides being super nice, everything is prepared for your time there to be smooth, comfortable and easy. Everyone was really nice and always paying attention to what you need, even before you ask for it. They are friendly, always smiling and learn, not just my name, but also what do I like and need. This is something very hard to find in any hotel and I value it very much!! Makes your stay even better. If you also jump into Scuba Diver course you will have an amazing experience with the best instructors, best equipment, and always putting safety first while teaching you everything you need to know so you can have a great and safe time underwater. The place is prepared for the experience to be very comfortable having all you need at the lounge. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful hotel and the staff were so accommodating to our needs. The breakfast was wonderful! We would love to come back again. There are a lot of hikes nearby to do and we enjoyed our of the best days of our trip in Paraty

Our teenagers wanted to become certified scuba divers and friends recommended us Daniel, an excellent diving instructor (fluent in English). Daniel is also the owner of this lodge where the diving course take place. We thought it would be convenient to stay overnight in the same place as the course was given so we booked 5 nights without paying much attention to what the place looked like. And guess what, we got really surprised to see the place at arrival. It was so beautiful and well maintained. The lodge and the plants surrounding it were in great harmony. A beautiful wooden kitchen/restaurant with air condition which we appreciated in the heat. All buildings/rooms were in great condition and so was the diving equipment. The coolest thing in this place was the swimming pool where they practice diving before going to the sea.

O Canto do Ilê Lodge é simplesmente encantador! Localização excelente, rodeado pela natureza e com fácil acesso. Limpeza impecável, ambiente lindo e acolhedor. A equipe é maravilhosa, muito atenciosa e prestativa. Recomendo fortemente!

Muito boa a experiência. Quarto muito limpo e bem decorado. Boa localização a poucos kms do centro histórico de Paraty. Pousada bem aconchegante, ambiente bem familiar e com um café da manhã simples porém bem gostoso. Facilidade para parar o carro.

Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt wat fantastisch. Gewoon een hele fijne plek, mooi design, ruime kamers. Bij het riviertje achter de lodge twee ochtenden op rij een familie capibara’s en aapjes gezien. + fietsen om te lenen, super!

A pousada é linda, o quarto é ótimo. Café da manhã delicioso. Muito legal a preocupação com a sustentabilidade em detalhes sutis que fazem toda a diferença. Localização não está no centro da cidade mas é bem pertinho e ainda por cima eles disponibilizam bicicletas para ir até lá.
